Hey guys! We have been soo busy trying to find our new normal that I haven't kept up with the page, but I have an awesome update! We are day 140 post transplant and we are doing fabulous! We have a normal platelet count and a normal hemoglobin level! Whoot whoot! We are trying everything to get this kid to eat anything! We have dropped the calorie additive to the nutrition as of today. No infusions were needed today! Possibly at our next appointment but not today ray! We also moved labs to our home lab and are looking to start vaccinations up in October. Most of you aren't totally aware but when u get a transplant it erases all vaccines prior to transplant so medically hes been reborn at the age of 3. Every vaccine from birth till then has to be re-done. We are possibly eliminating the preventative amoxacilin dose, we will know for sure on that by the end of the week. As for the other meds we will slowly drop them one by one the next one to go should be the blood pressure medication. We had a very good appointment! I'm so glad my baby boys body is doing the right thing! Little by little more normalcy will come. We are trying to enjoy what little bit of summer thats left. He loves his scooter rides, and so does sissy. That's all for now all good things!

Today I donate power red cells im hoping to be able to keep up with donating because soo many people need blood products...

Little man out of surgery everything went well now we are making sure that he tolerates feeds as well as he has prior to this. A few hiccups due to line pinching but over all doing well and asking for milk, so it seems like we are on the right track. Still giving Tylenol every 6 hours poor little one doesn't want to sit up yet because it hurts his belly.

Hey guys just an update for marcus wr will be getting our gtube tomorrow at 6 am! Broviac removal and ng tube out! Two day stay for observation and then home at some point Friday! When I tell you we are ready you have no idea how true that is for us. When we came home last I wish I could have caught his smile from ear to ear when he said HHHHHOOOOMMMMEEEE! He got so sad when we had to come back here to Pittsburgh. We will have a follow-up the following week for labs and our every two week infusion but...we will be able to be home with sissy! Just in time for back to school I'm soo excited for my family to be back together!

Hey guys it's been a while since I posted there's a bunch of things happening. We are working on an at home plan for marcus. Trying to set up therapies speech and occupational therapy to be exact because marcus is still refusing to eat and now not drinking either. I tried keystone development services and their wait lost is 12 to 18 months for treatment, obviously that's not going to work. If anyone has any suggestions hit me with them please. We will be getting our gtube placement next week and home for good the following weekend. Thank goodness. We also need an at home nurse and that has been a disaster also. They won't pay me to do it because I'm not licensed. Ok and there isn't many available in home care aids that do pediatrics...grrr. Today was a rough day for him as we had to have our infusion our dressing changed and a new ng tube in because they get changed every 30 days thank goodness a gtube doesn't need changed that often. Im really praying that marcus just starts eating after the ng tube is gone but time will tell. I also accepted a job offer with a contingent start. Date in August so im really hoping to get all these things in order before rent is due again.. Brianna has started her therapy and is going to hershey with friends of mine soon. I'm hoping to get up to the lake at least once with her as that is a core memory for our family but time will tell. Keep us in your prayers as life is continuing to throw curve balls and im not sure I have the proper mitt most times. I do know that whatever it takes I'm going to keep showing up for both of these kids! God bless yall!
