Gratitude.

Taking a few moments each day to focus on what is going well can help reduce stress, improve mood, and create a more positive mindset. While it isn’t a substitute for medical care, gratitude is a simple daily practice that supports overall well-being and costs absolutely nothing.

🥑 Healthy fats aren’t the enemy—they’re essential for your health.

Your body needs healthy fats to support brain function, hormone production, nutrient absorption, and long-lasting energy. Foods like avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and fatty fish can help keep you satisfied while nourishing your body.

The goal isn’t to avoid fat—it’s to choose the right kinds and enjoy them in balanced portions.

Remember: healthy eating isn’t about restriction. It’s about giving your body the nutrients it needs to thrive. 💚

I won’t be doing this again.
Spreading bark dust.
I’m still drippy, sneezy & inflamed.
Then when I was sitting in church taking the sacrament yesterday, I learned,
“Jesus is to the soul like the liver is to the body”
One of the liver’s biggest jobs is removing toxins.
It does this in 3 phases: bioactivation, conjugation & transportation (elimination).
It does an AMAZING work within us without us even realizing most of the time. Until it gets clogged up.
It actually uses a a quarter of the body’s energy to do it!
Jesus is also our Great Detoxifier.
His beautiful work is cleansing us from the spiritual toxins in our lives: pride, insecurity, greed, judgement, addiction, toxic thoughts.
Only He never gets overburdened by our sin.
He can take it all.
We don’t have to worry about overburdening him.
We place limits on him not the other way around.
I’m so grateful for the body’s detox system.
I’m even more thankful for Jesus, the Great Detoxifier of all.
