When it comes to diet, there is a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there.
From the ๏ฟผKeto diet to the Mediterranean diet, all the way to the vegan and vegetarian diet, and everything in between-letโs explore some basic principles that should apply to anyone no matter the different foods that one chooses to eat.
๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐. This may be obvious, but eating this way will ensure a more nutrient-dense diet, while avoiding preservatives, chemicals, synthetic vitamins, and other unnatural things. ๏ฟผ
๐๐จ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ญ will ensure youโre getting a variety of different nutrients.
๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ, ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐งโ๐ญ ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐จ ๐ข๐ญ. Avoid isolated protein, which is added to protein shakes, bars, chips, etc. Itโs considered a processed food and isnโt giving your body the nutrients it needs.
๐๐๐ญ ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐, ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ, ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐. This can be incredibly difficult considering the cost compared to conventional farming, but the benefits add up over a lifetime and is a solid investment into your health.

These include sauerkraut, Kiefer, pickles, yogurt, ๏ฟผetc. These contain beneficial bacteria that your gut thrives on. ๏ฟผ*When incorporating these foods, go slow. ๏ฟผ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ฌ, ๐๐๐๐ง๐ฌ, ๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ฌ. These products contain anti-nutrients, such as enzyme, inhibitors, tannins, phytic acid, etc.๏ฟผ Soaking, sprouting, fermenting, or naturally leavening๏ฟผ๏ฟผ them can help mitigate that.

Thereโs been a lot of hype around saturated fats, and not enough spotlight on the chemicals and fatty acid structure of seed oils. *If you donโt know your oxidation type, fats should be consumed sparingly. Most people do not process moderate-heavy amounts of fat in their diet well. To find out your oxidation type, send me a message or give me a call.
