Did you know even a small amount of lead can have a BIG impact on your child’s health? 🏠💡

Lead can hide in places you might not expect—peeling paint, tap water from old pipes, dust, soil, toys, and even some pottery or home remedies. Exposure can affect brain development, slow growth, and cause lifelong health and behavior problems.

Protect your family:

✔️ Use safe water sources
✔️ Keep play areas clean

📢 WIC UPDATE — Walmart Transactions

We have received an update regarding the WIC transaction issues at Walmart locations. Walmart has confirmed that the issue has been resolved, and WIC transactions should now process normally.

There are reports of issues with WIC transactions at Walmart locations this morning. Transactions may be intermittently affected while the issue is being investigated.

⚠️ If you are attempting to use WIC at Walmart, please be aware that your transaction may not process correctly.

We will share an update as soon as more information is available. Please share this post with other WIC families who may be affected.

Every Stage Is a Milestone!🏅

As babies grow, their feeding journeys grow with them. This can mean changes in breastfeeding or pumping, new foods, new routines, or eventually beginning the weaning process.

And here's something important to remember: There is no single “right” timeline.

Every family is different. Every baby is different. Every feeding journey can look different. Whether you're celebrating your first feeding, reaching a breastfeeding milestone, introducing new foods, or beginning to wean, your journey deserves support!

Last week, we talked about pumping and the support WIC has to offer for your pumping journey. This week, we're talking about something that can make such a difference in any feeding journey: Support!

For breastfeeding parents, support isn't always about someone knowing exactly what to say. Sometimes it's:
💧 Bringing a glass of water.
🍽️ Making dinner.
👶 Holding the baby so a parent can take a break.
🧼 Helping with pump parts.
💬 Listening without judgment.
❤️ Simply saying, “I've got you.”
