“The people who tend to their faith in ordinary seasons do not come undone in extraordinary ones.” — Eric Church
I love this quote because it applies to far more than faith.
The man who spends 15 minutes a day in God’s Word when life is calm is often the same man who finds strength, wisdom, and perspective when life becomes difficult.
The same is true with exercise.
You don’t build strength during a health scare.
You don’t build endurance after receiving bad news.
You don’t suddenly develop resilience when stress hits your business or your family.
You build those things beforehand.
The workouts you complete on ordinary Tuesday mornings.
The walks you take when you don’t feel like it.
The Bible reading you do when life feels routine.
Those small, seemingly insignificant actions become the foundation that carries you through extraordinary seasons.
Strong faith.
Strong body.
Strong mind.
None are built in a day. All are built daily.
