☀️ Your Summer, Your Way ☀️

One thing I’ve learned as a mom is that summer doesn’t magically create more hours in the day. If anything, it requires more planning and intention.

For me, being strategic with my time is what allows me to enjoy summer with my boys while still moving my business forward.

Our mornings are usually dedicated to family. We start with our Miracle Morning, get outside for a walk or some exercise, spend some time reading, enjoy breakfast together, and tackle a few chores around the house.

Once the boys are set up for their day—whether that’s playing outside, hanging out with friends, heading to Grandma’s, or checking something off our summer bucket list—I can focus on my work for a couple of hours.

Today looked exactly like that.

We got our walk in, spent time reading, had breakfast and lunch together, and now the boys are headed off for some fun at the water park with their Cece. Meanwhile, I’ll be packing for our upcoming trip, placing a bulk Mary Kay order, setting appointments, and crossing a few things off my to-do list.

That’s what I love most about this season of life. My work doesn’t have to compete with my family. It fits around my family.

Some days I work during nap time, some days during soccer practice, some days in the quiet pockets between activities, and some days I work first so I can give my full attention to making memories later.

The key isn’t having more time.

The key is having a plan.

My planner, to-do list, and time blocking help me be intentional with both my family and my business so I can truly enjoy both.

This summer, we’re making memories, checking off bucket list adventures, taking trips, spending time outside, and soaking up every minute.

And I’m grateful for a business that allows me to build a life that fits right alongside it 💕🌲☀️

When filling in brows, I like to outline the lower edge first to create a clean shape, then lightly fill sparse areas with small strokes. This keeps brows looking natural instead of overly drawn on.

For eyeshadow, think about light and depth:
🤍 Lighter shades on the lid help brighten and open the eye.
🌸 Medium-to-deeper shades in the crease and outer corner create dimension and a subtle lifting effect.

Weekend Recap 🌲🚲🔥⚽🏆🎂

What a weekend!

We spent the weekend at Stampede Lake making memories with family and friends, riding bikes through the trees, walking with Sophie, relaxing around the campfire, and enjoying everything we love about camping together.

One of the unexpected highlights was getting to celebrate Kane’s birthday! 🎂 We found out it was his birthday while we were camping, so of course we had to throw together a little impromptu birthday celebration. Watching the kids laugh, play, and make memories together made the weekend even more special.

The other big highlight was Cam’s championship soccer game. His team finished 2nd place in the league, and we could not be more proud of him and his teammates!

What makes this season so special isn’t just where they finished—it’s how they played. Their team earned the Sportsmanship Award for being positive, encouraging one another, showing kindness, and displaying great character all season long. As a mom, that means even more than a trophy.

And speaking of trophies… Cam was so proud of his award that he held it high over his head celebrating and then insisted on buckling it into its own seatbelt for the drive back to camp so everyone could admire it 😂🏆 It might have been the safest passenger in the car!

Watching your kids work hard, cheer on their teammates, celebrate their friends, and grow into kind, encouraging young people is one of the greatest gifts of parenthood.

So proud of you, Cam. Not just for the medal and trophy, but for the heart you show on and off the field ❤️

Here’s to weekends filled with pine trees, bike rides, campfires, birthday surprises, best friends, family adventures, and celebrating the moments that matter most 💚
