First up was nurses week, we might be bias but here at Sunterra we have the VERY best. Our facility is better because each of them 💉☢️🩺

Then Skilled Nursing Week, the next week having fun celebrating our entire team ❤️

Woke up bright and early to volunteer at the Senior Age Games! We love finding new ways to continue getting involved with our community ❤️🏃🏽🏈🥎

“The Southwest Missouri Senior Games,
held in Springfield, MO are hosted by the
Springfield-Greene County Park Board.
The Southwest Missouri Senior Games
(SMSG) are intended to provide an
outlet for positive sports and recreational
activities by citizens of Southwest Missouri.
All athletes should embrace the SMSG as
an opportunity for competition and fun.
The SMSG can also serve as preparation for the
Missouri State Senior Games in Columbia, MO.”

🚨April Employee Spotlight🚨

Lauren Luthy, Admissions and Marketing Director who celebrates 2 years with Sunterra Springs this month!

“My educational background includes a Masters in Healthcare Administration as well as being certified as a nursing assistant and medication technician.

I had the opportunity to grow up in the skilled nursing community. My mom was a Director of Nursing at a SNF for the majority of my life. I invested a lot of quality time into volunteering at the facilities she worked in. I knew in my heart very quickly that I was in the field I was supposed to be in.

I have worked in skilled nursing in some capacity for the last 10 years. Beginning as a receptionist as a teenager, then working as a CNA/CMT, then working as a staffing coordinator, and now doing admissions and marketing.

I’ve always felt the population I serve is one that is routinely overlooked and lacks the access and quality of care they deserve. My goal is to always provide smooth transitions while ensuring those we care for receive exceptional care.”
