We feel compelled to put this news out here so our community, friends, and family can hear the story from us. Our news unexpectedly came out sooner than anticipated so we are still working on some of the logistics behind winding down.

We’re closing this chapter with incredibly full hearts and, honestly, a lot of sadness.
We believed so deeply in what Ultrascreen could bring to our community: making preventative heart screening more accessible and giving families another opportunity to catch something before it becomes life-changing. We still believe in that mission with our whole hearts. We truly hope that one day preventative cardiac care becomes the standard, rather than something families have to find room for financially in a system where we all already pay so much for healthcare.

But the reality is that times are tough, and the community support we needed simply wasn’t there to sustain the program. That is difficult to accept when you care so deeply about the work. Still, we want to step away with grace, gratitude, and pride. We are so proud of what we built, the families we served, the hearts we screened, and every person who believed in us and supported our mission along the way.
This isn’t the ending we hoped for, and our hearts are truly broken to see it come to an end. But we are incredibly grateful for every part of the journey and for the opportunity to try to make a difference.

We may be closing this chapter, but we will always be proud of what we started, the lives we touched, and the difference we were able to make. We hope the work we began continues to inspire a future where preventative heart care is valued, accessible, and prioritized. ❤️

Did you know up to 1 in 300 young athletes may have an undiagnosed heart condition that puts them at risk for sudden cardiac arrest? A simple screening could save a life.

Ultrascreen can come directly to your team's practice before, after, or even during and complete a comprehensive heart screening (EKG, echocardiogram, and vital signs) in just 15–20 minutes per athlete. The cost is just $95 per athlete (self-pay, insurance not applicable but can use HSA/FSA).
Thanks to the Ultrascreen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; local businesses, organizations, and community members can sponsor teams to help offset, or even fully cover the cost of screenings. Donations made through the Foundation are tax-deductible, and we can provide the documentation needed for tax reporting.

Whether you coach baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, softball, wrestling, or any JV/Varsity team, we'll work around your practice schedule to make protecting your athletes simple and convenient. One more opportunity to catch a hidden heart condition before it becomes a tragedy.

The launch of the Ultrascreen Foundation as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit opens the door to something much bigger than us, it creates an opportunity for our community to ensure more students have access to potentially life-saving cardiac screenings, regardless of their ability to pay.
We're actively looking for sponsors to help bring screening clinics to local schools. Whether you're an individual, family, business, or organization, your support can directly impact the lives of children in our communities.

Today marks a major milestone for the Ultrascreen Foundation and the mission we've believed in from the very beginning, that every child deserves access to a potentially life-saving cardiac screening, regardless of their financial situation.

As an official nonprofit, we can now accept tax-deductible donations, and every dollar given goes toward expanding access to screenings, educating families, and bringing our mobile clinics directly into local schools.

We're looking for individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who want to make a lasting impact by sponsoring school screening events. One act of generosity could help identify a heart condition before it becomes a tragedy and give a family answers they never knew they needed.

Exciting news!!! We will be back at Northwestern for another clinic on Saturday, August 8th! This will be available to book soon so stay tuned and mark your calendars. This event will be hosted by NW but other students from surrounding schools are able to attend.

We have a new sign-up system launching for this event that will make our process much more easier to register, pay, and fill out consents and waivers all in one quick swoop. 🙌🏽

Another public event at Long Road Crossfit will be also happening that week. We are excited to get back into the swing of things (although we are not rushing summer 🌞).

We are excited to share that the Ultrascreen Foundation is officially moving forward as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity (pending approval)! Please give the additional page a follow.

This new chapter will allow us to expand our reach, build community partnerships, and provide screenings at no cost to families through the generosity of donors and supporters.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to have their heart checked, regardless of circumstances. This is a huge step toward making that vision a reality.
