As the year is coming to a close, we invite you all to do take a moment. Identify what does “rest” feel like in your body? Where do you feel ease when you allow yourself to be tended to? What parts may have some resistance? Answer in the comments 💬

These questions allow us to embody patience, care and honesty. Ultimately leading to cellular transformation that allows us to transform our world into one where loving is prioritized and honored🤍

This past weekend there was an abundance of Black beauty, joy and of course COMMUNITY at Frizz Fest 2026🫶🏾
We set up an incredible wellness spot where folks could hangout, receive FREE acupuncture beads from F. Afua Bromley 🩵 , listen to stories📖 and overall feel the love from us, Black Healers Collective(BHC), throughout the entirety of the event🫂

HUGE thank you to Frizz Fest ❣️ This event is monumental for the culture and we are so grateful and honored to have been a part of it🙏🏾

Another special thanks to all of our BHC members. We truly brought some contagious love and childlike pleasure into the space ✨

“You are your best thing” - Toni Morrison 📖Beloved. In this snippet, Jessireé (Jessireé Jenkins ) describes how to work through the “thick” of it in meetings when being the role of a consultant. This advice is applicable across various types of relationships! Another gem she generously shared with us is remembering that prioritizing oneself simultaneously benefits the collective. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. It is such a gift having Jessireé on the InPower Core Team
