This week, we had the honor of welcoming neighbors, board members, agency care providers, supporters, and residents to our newest home in Jefferson County.

Guests got a first look at the house’s new concrete entry ramp, freshly installed hardwood floors, and a sleek sliding barn door for the bathroom, along with home essentials gifted from our Amazon wish list for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities who will soon call this house their forever home.

A huge thank you to our at partners Developmental Disability Advocates and the Jefferson Foundation who helped make this home and its essential accessibility modifications possible as we continue to expand our services in Jefferson County!

And thank you to everyone who helped stock the house with everyday essentials, so our new residents will have everything they need from the moment they move in.

The Productive Living Board for St. Louis County Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (PLB) is surveying individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families, and community partners to help prioritize funds and better understand what services are most needed in St. Louis County.

Shout out to our friends at Abstrakt Marketing Group for stopping by once again on their annual Give Back Day!

These incredible volunteers pulled weeds, trimmed bushes, and laid down some new mulch just in time for fall, helping to keep our campus in tip-top shape for our residents and community members.

October 9 is ! Have you ever seen that large building on the north side of PCH’s campus and wondered what it’s for?

That building is called the “RLC” and used to serve as a respite care center for families with members with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While the building is no longer able to serve as a respite home, it has been put to good use by the Creve Coeur Fire Department.

On this Fire Prevention Day, we’re throwing it back to earlier this year when the Creve Coeur Fire Department performed an important lifesaving training. In this particular scenario, the firefighters had to “locate, assess, and remove” a firefighter from underneath a collapsed ceiling in a “burning” building. To achieve this effect, the entire lower floor of the building was filled with smoke!

We’re so grateful to provide the facilities for this important training scenario for the Creve Coeur Fire Department!

Another safe, stable, and accessible ramp is in the books!

This St. Louis County home just received a major upgrade: a brand-new concrete ramp and driveway which will allow residents with IDD to safely come and go for years to come so they can continue to age in place with stability and dignity.

We're proud to to help turn houses into forever homes for adults with IDD by making necessary safety modifications that allow residents to remain in the houses they call home for life.

Help us welcome our newest residents home! 🏡

Our newest house in Jefferson County is almost ready for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities to move in, and we need your help to make it feel like home.

Before move-in day, we stock each new house with the everyday essentials residents need to settle in comfortably. Our Amazon wish list includes things like paper towels, dish soap, cooking utensils, and more, all of which help turn a new house into a clean, comfortable, ready-to-live-in home.

While The Gala: Gin & Jazz on Friday, October 23 officially kicks off fundraising for the Forever Home Fund, it’s never too early to make an impact.

Every resident deserves a home that is safe, stable, and cared for. When unexpected, unbudgeted, or emergency needs arise (like when storms last year damaged the roof of a home to 3 residents with IDD), the Forever Home Fund ensures we can respond right away—without hesitation.

Because of this fund, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can rely on something truly meaningful: a home they can count on for life.
