🎶 Before the guests arrived and the Music Under the Stars magic could begin, Marty, John, Cam, and Ed were hauling, lifting, and getting everything into place. They jumped right in and helped get us ready for a wonderful evening!

We have incredible volunteers who show up for the heavy lifting, the set-ups, the takedowns for our fundraisers and yes… even when the weather doesn’t cooperate! 😃👍

Our Pet Therapy dogs have a way of bringing smiles, easing loneliness, and creating meaningful moments. Our volunteers and their beloved dogs generously share their time in the community.

💜 The Dynamic Duo – Rosa Solis & Linda Dillon! 💜
Their combined 40+ years of service have made a lasting impact on our patients, families, and community.
Rosa discovered hospice volunteer opportunities through our former Volunteer Manager Julie Lofy. A treasured memory is the three years she spent visiting a 96-year-old patient. Rosa heard stories of simpler times of when the patient grew up without electricity and played who could spit cherry pits the farthest. Rosa says, "You can't help but fall in love with people after you hear their stories."
Linda was inspired to volunteer by being present with grandma and providing respite for her parents so they can take care of themselves and do their hobbies. She knew she wanted to become a Family Team Volunteer. One of her favorite memories is visiting an Italian woman in her 90s who lived all by herself. Our volunteers share how meaningful and important caregiver respite and connection are.
Annually, they've also supported grieving children at Camp Caterpillar and continue serving through our Butterfly Auxiliary, helping raise funds and awareness for our non-profit organization.
Their advice? Give back where you can. Uplift your community! You'll receive just as much as you give. 💜 Thank you, Rosa and Linda, for your caring hearts, time, and commitment! 💐

Our quilts are handcrafted by loving community members who generously give their time, talent, and creativity. And the smiles say it all! The look on our patients' and family members' faces when they receive one of these beautiful quilts is priceless. 🥰
