One thing about being a business owner… your husband somehow becomes an unofficial employee 😂

But in all seriousness, I genuinely don’t know how I would do everything I do without Josh. From building things at the shop, hauling whatever I need, helping with events, setting up, cleaning up, listening to every new idea I randomly come up with 😂 and somehow always being the person I call when I need something done.

Level Up may be my business, but there is so much behind the scenes that has his hands on it too.

He works hard at his own job, comes home and still finds ways to help me carry mine. Now we have this next season of becoming parents, I’m even more grateful for the partner I get to do life with.

Thank you for being there through every version of this dream. 🤍

🤍 It’s officially that time…

I’ll be stepping away from tattooing for maternity leave as we prepare to welcome our baby boy. 🍼✨

I’ve been so grateful to tattoo for as long as I have during this pregnancy, but I really want to be intentional with this nesting season and soak up these first moments as a family. I’ll still be posting some tattoos I’ve done that i haven’t been able to post and info for our upcoming events!

A few booking updates:
• I’ll be back in December.
• I’m currently booking January & February appointments.
• My books will be closing soon, so if you’ve been thinking about getting tattooed, send in your inquiry! Once I’m full, all new inquiries will go onto my waitlist.

My assistant, Olivia, will be taking care of all inquiries while I’m away, so she’ll be your point of contact for booking and questions (via email only!)

The good news is that Level Up Studio is still open! We have five amazing artists who would love to take care of you while I’m away. If your tattoo can’t wait, we’d love to connect you with the artist who’s the best fit!

When I return, I’ll be prioritizing medium- larger custom pieces, but I still encourage you to submit any inquiry so we can plan ahead.

Thank you for trusting me with your tattoos and supporting me through every season of life. I can’t wait to come back in December with a full heart, fresh inspiration, and probably way too many baby photos. 🤍✨

My first Polynesian leg sleeve that started back in October 2025.

So much learning. So much patience. So much intentional building. ✨

I’m incredibly grateful for friends who trust not just my hands, but my heart, with something so deeply meaningful to me.

What’s crazy is there was a point in my journey where I told myself I would never tattoo tribal. 😅 The pressure. The responsibility. The cultural significance. On top of the weight that already comes with this industry, it felt intimidating.

But one thing entrepreneurship has taught me is that growth rarely happens where you’re comfortable.

Every level I’ve reached has required me to step into something that scared me first and to be willing to be a beginner again, to stay humble, to study, to listen, and to honor this art and culture.

This piece has challenged me in the best way, and it’s reminded me that sometimes the things we say we’ll never do end up becoming the very things we’re called to pursue.

Still learning. Still growing. Forever a student. 🤍
