I’m out of the country enjoying some time off this week.
Often assistants feel guilty about taking time off. I do not. Take it and enjoy it!

This one is throwing me.

I have not seen a failed print with flakes of resin like this.

Have you had this before? What causes it?
What trouble shooting tips do you have?

I have a theory, but I need to get into those dental practices and see why it keeps happening.

As a dental assistant that 3d prints often and teaches, I’m always a little thankful to get a print fail. (Don’t tell the doctor) I get the chance to learn and then pass that along.

What’s great about DDAA is that we have seen a lot and share what to do. So you don’t have to “see a lot”! 😍

Just my thoughts on the OPA

I think it can get a great program. BUT! It needs good regulation and teaching. Real certifications and training. And then assistants need to be paid more for it.

I really think this could be great. And it won’t be for everyone. Many assistants won’t want to do that. That’s fine. Do what works for you and your practice.
