We had a wonderful time this past Sunday at Aldersgate UMC’s Community Back-to-School Celebration! 💙 Seven local nonprofits were invited to share resources and seek to meet the needs of families in our community. With a free cookout, games, prizes, face painting, bike repairs, and three fire trucks, it was a fun-filled day! 🚒 Our Executive Director and Health Administration Intern enjoyed sharing information about our free medical resources with smiling families enjoying an exciting day out! We’re grateful to Aldersgate UMC for bringing everyone together and creating a day focused on community, connection, and caring for our neighbors!

We are SO proud of our Medical Director! 💙 This week, she had the incredible honor of serving as a special speaker at Epic’s UGM Conference in Wisconsin. This is one of the largest healthcare IT gatherings in the world. What an incredible opportunity to share her knowledge, experience, and passion for caring for patients with leaders from across the healthcare community. We are so grateful for the expertise and heart she brings to Taylors Free Medical Clinic and so proud to see her representing Prisma Health at such a great conference!

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we celebrate the people who make our ministry possible.

At Taylors Free Medical Clinic, every patient is welcomed with dignity, compassion, and the love of Christ. Skilled medical care is given freely, but we know the true provision comes from the Lord—through our generous, faithful supporters who pray, volunteer, give, and stand with us!

To every person who supports TFMC: thank you. You are helping us care for our neighbors not only through medicine, but by showing them Jesus' love. We couldn't be more grateful.

Today, we’re celebrating ONE YEAR with Sarah at Taylors Free Medical Clinic!! 💙

Sarah is one of our nurse practitioners and brings her neurology experience to our clinic, along with a thoughtful and compassionate approach to caring for our patients. She is such a pleasant presence on our team, and we’re grateful for the knowledge, kindness, and care she brings to TFMC.

And outside of the clinic? Sarah is the queen of sourdough 🍞 and is now getting into beekeeping. We’re so glad to have her in our hive! 🐝💛

We are thankful for all she has contributed over this past year. Happy one-year anniversary, Sarah!

A heartfelt thank you to the Greer/Fitzgerald Life Group for spending an entire Saturday serving at our clinic! This incredible group tackled a long list of projects, including painting our back doors and stairways, improving the grounds, planting bright and cheerful flowers, painting benches, laying pavers, and power washing siding. Their hard work and willingness to serve made a tremendous difference, helping make the clinic even more welcoming for patients and visitors. We are deeply grateful for their time, energy, and care!

This spring, a wonderful group of seniors from Bob Jones Academy spent an afternoon serving at Taylors Free Medical Clinic as part of a community missions outreach project.

Their hard work, enthusiasm, and servant hearts were such a blessing to the ministry. Getting to know this sweet group of students was a joy, and their investment in serving the community made a meaningful impact.

We are so grateful to a lovely group of young ladies from Southside Christian School who recently spent their weekend assembling more than 30 care packages for our sweet patients.

What an incredible example of servant-hearted leadership! In a world that often focuses on self, these young women chose to make others a priority and to serve their community in a meaningful way.

We have loved handing out these care packages and seeing the smiles they bring. Thank you to the Interact Club for your kindness and willingness to make a difference. ❤️

This spring, we were incredibly blessed to have Kelly serve as an intern with our ministry. Kelly came alongside our Executive Director in support of planning our April fundraiser, Overcoming Through Hope, serving as a true right-hand person throughout the process.

Working together with our other committee members, it truly became a dream team. Kelly was instrumental in keeping things moving forward and in spreading awareness of our mission.

On the night of the event, Kelly was everywhere at once. At one point, she was training volunteers while her cell phone was ringing and her walkie-talkie was going off at the same time. Busy? Absolutely. Calm under pressure? Yes. A make-it-happen kind of intern; Kelly was exactly who we needed.

Now, Kelly is spending her summer serving in missions, which beautifully reflects the heart behind how our clinic ministry was founded. We are so grateful for her compassion and dedication.

Thank you, Kelly! We are cheering you on this summer! 💙
