A heartfelt thank you to the Greer/Fitzgerald Life Group for spending an entire Saturday serving at our clinic! This incredible group tackled a long list of projects, including painting our back doors and stairways, improving the grounds, planting bright and cheerful flowers, painting benches, laying pavers, and power washing siding. Their hard work and willingness to serve made a tremendous difference, helping make the clinic even more welcoming for patients and visitors. We are deeply grateful for their time, energy, and care!

This spring, a wonderful group of seniors from Bob Jones Academy spent an afternoon serving at Taylors Free Medical Clinic as part of a community missions outreach project.

Their hard work, enthusiasm, and servant hearts were such a blessing to the ministry. Getting to know this sweet group of students was a joy, and their investment in serving the community made a meaningful impact.

We are so grateful to a lovely group of young ladies from Southside Christian School who recently spent their weekend assembling more than 30 care packages for our sweet patients.

What an incredible example of servant-hearted leadership! In a world that often focuses on self, these young women chose to make others a priority and to serve their community in a meaningful way.

This spring, we were incredibly blessed to have Kelly serve as an intern with our ministry. Kelly came alongside our Executive Director in support of planning our April fundraiser, Overcoming Through Hope, serving as a true right-hand person throughout the process.

Working together with our other committee members, it truly became a dream team. Kelly was instrumental in keeping things moving forward and in spreading awareness of our mission.

On the night of the event, Kelly was everywhere at once. At one point, she was training volunteers while her cell phone was ringing and her walkie-talkie was going off at the same time. Busy? Absolutely. Calm under pressure? Yes. A make-it-happen kind of intern; Kelly was exactly who we needed.

Now, Kelly is spending her summer serving in missions, which beautifully reflects the heart behind how our clinic ministry was founded. We are so grateful for her compassion and dedication.

Today, we’re celebrating two members of our team at Taylors Free Medical Clinic.

Jennifer, our Patient Services Coordinator, is the queen of referrals—working diligently to connect patients with specialty tests, appointments, and the care they need. Leslie, our Receptionist and Volunteer Coordinator, welcomes and serves our patients with warmth and our volunteers with encouragement.

Beyond the many administrative details they navigate each day to keep our clinic running smoothly, both Jennifer and Leslie give of themselves daily—often going above and beyond the call of duty to serve our clinic with excellence and commitment. We are deeply grateful for the vital role they play in making our mission possible.

It's National Nurses Week! 💙 This week, we are especially grateful to our staff nurse, Angie, and the many volunteer nurses who so faithfully serve our patients with compassion, gentleness, and excellence.

Nursing is truly one of the greatest professions—a beautiful calling that requires both remarkable skill and a deeply compassionate heart. Our nurses do far more than provide medical care; they offer comfort, dignity, reassurance, and hope to every patient who walks through our doors.

Their faithful care is a gift to our patients and a vital part of our mission.

Today, we celebrate National Interpreter Day! We are especially grateful for our 12 volunteer interpreters who faithfully serve our patients—bridging language gaps and ensuring every individual is seen, heard, and understood.

We’d like to give special recognition to Daniel Hortta, who was recently honored at our annual Night of Impact with the Heart for Patients Award. This award is presented to a volunteer whose kindness and care reflect the heart of our mission and bring dignity and hope to every patient encounter. Daniel is a current medical student and has graciously dedicated his summer breaks to serving our Spanish-speaking patients.

We are deeply thankful for Daniel and all of our interpreters who serve with such excellence and compassion. 💙
