She thought this was how she was going to live for the rest of her life.

Years of back pain.
Two back surgeries that left her feeling worse.
And a growing fear that doing the things she loved would only hurt her again.

She’s a former athlete who now works in healthcare — a job that can be physically demanding. She didn’t just want to get out of pain. She wanted to feel capable again.

She wanted to lift weights.
She wanted to perform her job without fear.
She wanted to trust her body again.

When she started with us, she could barely perform a bodyweight squat without pain — and more importantly, she didn’t have the confidence to load her body because she was afraid of what might happen.

Today was her LAST session.

She squatted an 80LB DUMBBELL.

No pain.
Complete control.
And most importantly — confidence.

This is what progressive rehab can look like when you stop treating someone like they’re broken and start rebuilding their capacity.

She stayed consistent. She trusted the process. And she proved to herself that her back was capable of far more than she thought.

Her journey doesn’t end here. She’s going to keep getting stronger, keep progressing, and keep doing the things she loves.

Congratulations! You earned this one. 👏🏼

One thing most people aren’t training enough

Single leg exercises

Single-leg training can help build strength, stability, and control while exposing weaknesses that bilateral exercises can sometimes hide.

Train so that you can move better and feel better

🚨 Back pain tip you NEED to know.

If you’re using a Roman chair and finishing the movement by cranking into low-back hyperextension, you could be making your symptoms worse.

Instead, focus on hip extension—let your glutes do the work rather than repeatedly extending through your low back.

It’s not always about doing more. Sometimes, it’s about doing it with a different intention

Follow for more tips to help you move better, train smarter, and stay active. 💪

I’ve seen it too many times.

Someone pushes through the pain for months — “I’ll deal with it later, I don’t have time right now.”

Then later becomes missed workouts.
Missed games with their kids.
Missed mornings that used to start with a run, now start with just… getting out of bed.

Here’s what I wish more people knew: you don’t have to wait until it’s that bad.

Your health isn’t something you get back to eventually. It’s something you protect now.

📲 Comment “READY” — let’s get you back to you.

Almost a year without a workout.

Not because she didn’t want to. Because she couldn’t.

Back pain took that from her — and it wasn’t just the workouts she missed. It was feeling like herself again.

She came to us a couple months ago barely able to move without pain.

Today she hit her heaviest deadlift in over a year. 💪

This is why we do what we do

Your squat stance might be the reason your lower back hurts

A lot of people squat with a narrow stance + toes pointed straight forward because that’s what they were taught

But your hips aren’t built like everyone else’s

Your pelvis, your femur length, your skeletal structure — they dictate YOUR range of motion. Not a textbook.

Forcing a narrow, toes-forward squat when your body wants something else = your lower back picks up the slack

Try this instead:

→ Widen your stance
→ Let your toes turn out slightly
→ Squat to what YOUR hips allow

Your squat should fit your body

Drop “SQUAT” below and I’ll send you our full breakdown on fixing stance for pain-free lifting 👇
