At The Green Apple Health Foods we want to empower our customers to live a healthier lifestyle by providing quality products at an affordable price with a knowledgeable and friendly staff and a home town experience. The idea for a place where health-conscious members of the community can come to find wholesome, quality products at low prices became a reality for Michelle Alonso in February 2013. S

he decided to establish a friendly neighborhood store where the community could come to buy natural, organic, and allergy-friendly products without breaking the bank. From the time she envisioned the store it took only 4 short months for The Green Apple to open its doors! A question we are often asked is, “Why ‘The Green Apple’?” Well, we wanted the name to express our vision for the store- something fresh, vibrant, and fun. After throwing around some ideas, we remembered that Michelle’s mom’s favorite fruit was the Granny Smith Apple. So, in memory of Grandma Sherry, the store was named “The Green Apple.”

From the vintage-inspired décor and vibrant colors, stepping into The Green Apple is like coming into a home away from home. The Green Apple carries a wide selection of gluten-free breads and pastries, supplements, organic teas and coffees, dairy-free goodies and much more! Our store offers a unique shopping experience where you can do your everyday grocery shopping and find specialty and natural products. Not only do we carry products for a wide range of needs, we also offer those products at low prices. We believe that if we get a discount on the product, so should our customers.
