We call them “gut feelings” for a reason.
Long before the mind has gathered enough evidence, the body already knows. That subtle tightening in your belly when something isn’t aligned. The warm expansion when you’re moving toward something meant for you. The gut is often the first messenger of truth.
Ancient wisdom traditions have long understood what modern science is now discovering: the gut is far more than a digestive organ. It is an energetic center of intuition, discernment, personal power, and self-trust.
Located around the solar plexus, just above the navel, the third chakra governs confidence, willpower, and our ability to take aligned action. When balanced, we move through life with clarity, courage, and trust in our inner knowing. When depleted, we second-guess ourselves, ignore our intuition, and hesitate to act on what we already know deep within.
Every experience, emotion, stressor, and unresolved wound leaves an imprint on the body. Over time, stagnant energy can create static that makes it harder to hear our inner guidance.
One of the simplest ways to reconnect is through conscious breath.
Take a slow, deep breath into your belly. As you exhale, gently draw your navel toward your spine and imagine releasing stagnant energy, old stories, and stored emotions. Then welcome fresh life force energy with every inhale.
Each conscious breath creates more space for clarity, intuition, courage, and your soul’s guidance to be heard.
Your body is always speaking.
The question is: Are you listening?
