Acceptance doesn’t mean I like what happened.
It doesn’t mean I’ve stopped grieving what I thought my life would look like.
And it definitely doesn’t mean I’m giving up. 🤍
Sometimes acceptance is the middle space, the place between fighting reality and feeling defeated by it.
It’s asking myself:
✨ Where am I still resisting what is?
✨ What might the middle space look like for me?
✨ What can I adapt without abandoning what matters most to me?
Maybe healing isn’t about choosing between “acceptance” and “hope.”
Maybe it’s learning how to hold both.
I can acknowledge what has changed and still believe there is a meaningful life waiting for me here. 🫶🏻
