Watch Carhartt employees face off against Detroit Red Wings alumni—all while supporting Easterseals MORC! Attendees will also have opportunities to meet the players, take photos and get autographs.

🎟️ Tickets are FREE for individuals served by Easterseals MORC and the caregivers or family members accompanying them. General admission tickets will be available at the arena on game day for $10.

What a wonderful surprise! 🧡

Yesterday, Shane and members of his support team stopped by The Arc of Oakland County with a very special thank you for our team.

Over the past several months, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Shane through a challenging situation. Reaching a resolution took time, persistence and a great deal of advocacy, so having Shane visit and share his appreciation meant more to us than he knows.

Shane also brought us beautiful gift baskets filled with items crafted by participants at Dutton Farm. We absolutely love them!

Joining Shane was Ari, his longtime job coach, who supported him for many years and has played an important role in his journey.

Days like this remind us what advocacy is all about— listening, showing up, continuing to support someone when things get complicated and making sure their voice is heard.

Thank you, Shane, Ari and everyone at Dutton Farm for this incredibly thoughtful surprise. You truly made our day!

🎉 We had a great time today at Access for All 2026!

The Arc of Oakland County was proud to be part of this event celebrating inclusion, equality, accessibility, and the impact of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

It was a great opportunity to connect with community members, families, advocates, and organizations while sharing information about The Arc’s programs, resources, and advocacy efforts.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello and learn more about The Arc! We loved connecting with so many people and being part of a day focused on creating a more inclusive and accessible community for all.

♿ Another successful Wheelchair Round Up!

Today, The Arc of Oakland County partnered with Numotion for our third Wheelchair Round Up, providing free wheelchair inspections, basic maintenance, cleaning, replacement part assistance, and information about new wheelchair eligibility.

We’re grateful to Numotion for continuing to partner with us and for helping members of our community keep their wheelchairs safe, comfortable, and working their best!
