TCMS had the pleasure to connect with incoming residents at Oklahoma State University yesterday.

We enjoyed sharing how physician advocacy, leadership, and involvement in organized medicine help strengthen the medical profession and improve patient care. As these residents begin their training, we encourage them to get involved, make their voices heard, and build connections that will support them throughout their careers.

Meeting the next generation of physicians is always a highlight, and we're excited to welcome them to the Tulsa medical community. The future of medicine is in good hands.

Did You Know?

Since 1964, the Tulsa County Medical Society Foundation Scholarship Fund has supported the next generation of physicians through scholarships and educational investments.

To date, more than 1,351 medical students have received scholarships, totaling over $1.56 million awarded.

What began with proceeds from a community-wide polio immunization effort has grown into a lasting legacy of support for future physicians serving Oklahoma and beyond.

Scholarship applications are now open through August 31, 2026.

Today, we join Saint Francis Health System and our community in remembrance of June 1, 2022.

As we reflect on this day, we honor the lives lost, the courage shown in the face of tragedy, and the resilience that continues to unite our healthcare community.

On June 1, we remember a day when Saint Francis was forever changed by a devastating act of violence. As we reflect, we remain committed to healing, compassion and the unwavering support of one another.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice, courage, and commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Tulsa County Medical Society office will be closed on Monday, May 25. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26.

As we gather with family and friends, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

This honor reflects the impact of Project TCMS and those who connect uninsured Tulsa County patients to necessary specialty care.
