Rose Lassi
When I need a light, healthy bite to tide me over between teaching engagements, I turn to a Rose Lassi. It is quick to make, easy to digest, it satisfies my sweet tooth, and it is a delight to my senses. win-win-win!
While yogurt by itself can clog the channels of the digestion and elimination, thinning it and blending it with water changes the molecular structure making it much easier to assimilate. The addition of rose water is a coolant to pitta’s fiery hot engine and cardamom is a sweet, cooling spice that aids digestion. It is perfect for a light breakfast or an afternoon snack.
