hi, i’m sara, the artist behind Golden Hour Studio. ☼

in October of last year, i packed up my life and moved from arkansas to vero beach after owning my own successful tattoo shop. starting over somewhere completely new has been exciting and terrifying all at once.

back home, my chair stayed full. here, i’m rebuilding from scratch. some days that feels inspiring. some days it feels really vulnerable. but i believe in what i’m creating enough to keep showing up for it anyway.

my work leans a lot into fine line, floral, celestial, script, soft blackwork, and color when it fits the piece. outside of tattooing, i’m a hobby hopper but i’m always looking for something creative to do: hand-painted banners and other fun goods, murals, signs/calligraphy, graphic design, event planning, etc.

so i figured the best way to introduce myself properly would be this:
