Today in Vero Beach IP we transformed into tigers!
🐅🐯One of our IP zookeepers started off by teaching us how to sign "tiger" using sign language!!! Then we listened to some some facts about the tigers!!🐅 🐯
Next,we crafted our very own masks, put on our stripes, and sneaked outside to hunt for "prey" in the wild.!!🐯🐅

Vero Beach comprehensive had another session of dog therapy with our 4 legged fur friend Sira.
She continues to bring smiles and a lot of love to our program!
We learned
* Sira loves to travel and most times gets her own seat on the airplane.
*Sira isn't afraid of thunderstorms.
*Sira loves treats as much as we do.
*Sira has made many friends and makes us all feel relaxed.
What Sira learned
* Everyone at Rise Center loves her, even the maintenance man!

🐒🦧Today's Zoo Adventure: Monkeys
vs. Chimps!🐒🦧
Today, in Vero Beach IP our zookeepers learned all about monkeys and chimpanzees! We even practice opening and slicing one of the their favorite snacks "BANANAS" !!!!🍌🍌 Here are some of the super-cool secrets we discovered:
The Tail Tale: Look closely at their backsides!
Monkeys have tails to help them balance in the trees. Chimpanzees have no tails at all!
Super Smart Chimps: Chimps are like the engineers of the jungle. They will pick up a stick and use it like a spoon to scoop up snacks!
Tree-Top Acrobats: Monkeys love to swing and leap high up in the treetops, while chimps like to walk on the ground using their knuckles.
• Big Hugs: Chimps love to give their friends high-fives and big hugs when they are happy, just like we do!
Fun Fact: When monkeys and chimps groom each other's fur, it's their way of saying, "You're my best friend!"🙊🐒🦧

🦁VERO BEACH IP IS ZOO-RIFIC!!!!🦁
This month, Vero Beach IP is turning into mini-zookeepers as we learn all about The Zoo! We will be exploring the amazing animals that live there and learning how zookeepers take care of them every day.
Today, we kicked off our adventure with the King of the Jungle-the Lion!🦁

Fun Lion Facts We Learned Today:
Super Roar: A lion's roar is so loud it can be heard from miles away!
Family Time: Lions live in big families called prides.
Zookeeper Helpers: Zookeepers make sure the lions have yummy food and fun toys to play with 🦁

Vero Beach rescue ranchers were excited to return to the Florida Rescue Ranch after our Memorial day break!
Ranchers spent the day with the animals and each other continuing to spread kindness...
Bathing horses was the favorite! Ranchers learned that even horses enjoy playing in the water!
Ranchers also sat down and decorated the rocks and shells they found and enjoyed painting them and leaving them for others to " find the kind".
Then it was time to visit all of our favorite animals, spread kindness to each other and ourselves!
Thank you Cara Woods for sharing all of your birthday love with us! Cold apple juice hit the spot and you know it's a favorite!!! You truly make a difference every single day!!!

Vero Beach IP took a super fun trip to McDonald's, and it was a blast! Everyone did a wonderful job using their very best manners!! Everyone listened so well, waited patiently for their food, and sat together. Beautifully!! We're so proud of each and everyone of them.!!

A special shout out and a huge thank you going out to...

For the love of Paws and the therapy dog team!!!
Vero Beach Comprehensive had a very special visitor this morning...

Meet Sira, a very sweet and friendly Schnauzer who stole some hearts this morning! Clients enjoyed spending time with Sira, petting her, talking to her and as some said "Just loving on her". Sira also did some tricks for the clients and made everyone love her even more!
Thank you Debora for volunteering to come visit us and bring us such a sweet fur-friend! Dogs really are man's best friend!
