Today in Vero Beach IP, our zoo animal adventure was all about the beautiful, pink flamingo! We had so much fun learning, crafting, and dancing.

We learned some cool facts ! How flamingos balance on one leg and why their food makes them turn pink!🦩
We got creative and made our very own paper plate flamingos 🦩🦩🦩
We listened to a fun story called Flamingo Flamenco and practiced our very own flamingo dance moves!!🦩🦩

Vero Beach had another exceptional visit from our therapy dog friend Sira and her owner Debora!

Sira spent some quiet time with our clients and enjoyed all the petting and love. Clients enjoyed talking with Debora about Sira and how she teaches Sira to do her tricks.
Clients also received a special card from Sira and Debora.
We look forward to every visit and our relaxed time spent with them!

What a wild and fun day for Vero Beach IP!🦒🦒
Today for Zoo Month, our star animal was the Giraffe!🦒🦒

Giraffe Kebabs: We made yummy, tall snacks using cheese cubes and little sausage links to look just like a giraffe's long neck!🦒
2 Zookeeper Facts: Our awesome zookeeper told us that giraffes have blue tongues to protect them from the sun, and they even sleep standing up!🦒🦒

Vero Beach Rescue Ranchers had another spectacular session on Monday!
These photos emphasize the profound lessons animals can teach us. Through the experience of caring for them and bonding with them, we learn to connect on a deeper level. The knowledge we gain from these connections inspires us to cultivate empathy and compassion. We embrace the lessons that come with loving animals as they often guide us toward greater awareness and understanding.

Today in Vero Beach IP our zoo adventure was all about the amazing zebra!!🦓 One of our IP zookeepers read us some super cool facts about them:🦓
Fingerprint Stripes: No two zebras have the same stripes. They are all completely unique-just like us!
Bug Repellent: Their black-and-white stripes actually trick bugs and keep biting flies away!
Standing Sleep: Zebras can sleep standing up so they are always ready to run!!!
"Z" is for Zebra!🦓
We also got crafty and made awesome Letter Z Zebras! We turned the letter Z into our very own striped friends, practicing our letters and our creativity all at once. They look amazing!
Also big Thank you to one of our awesome parents Mrs.Lisa for the Yummy ZEBRA Cakes!!🦓🦓🦓
