Body pain and unexplained fatigue are easy to push aside — especially when getting answers means wondering what it'll cost just to start looking.

For years, Amaya kept getting the same treatment for a problem that never actually got solved — until someone finally looked closer.

Amaya dealt with worsening throat, sinus, and ear infections for years, treated over and over with steroids that never fixed the real issue. "They just kept giving me steroids, round after round, and it kept getting worse." The repeated steroids even started affecting her blood pressure and blood sugar.

Once she switched to an on-site clinic in the Curaechoice network, a provider finally recognized how serious it was. "She looked at it and said, 'This is not normal.'"
