Any information posted on the CDH International / CHERUBS website and social media are not intended to replace or override any doctor's diagnoses and/or treatment
plans. CDH International / CHERUBS does not diagnose, medically treat, or care for any individual associated with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Should you have ANY concerns regarding the health of yourself or your child, please contact your doctor immediately.
*** Pictures and Content:
All event photos, graphics, and content posted by CDH International / CHERUBS on the website, blogs, and social media are copyrighted, intellectual property of CDH International / CHERUBS unless otherwise stated. All photographs of patients and families that are submitted to our organization are copyrighted, intellectual property of said persons, and used with permission by CDH International / CHERUBS. Copying, cropping, sharing (without using social media share functions), or infringing on CDH International / CHERUBS intellectual property in any way is a crime publishable by law. Using, altering, or editing our charity logos or graphics to create merchandise for reasons other than fundraising for our charity is infringing on CDH International / CHERUBS intellectual property in any way is a crime publishable by law. The CDH Awareness Ribbon is not trademarked and may be used at will by anyone wishing to raise money or awareness. However, ALL OTHER GRAPHICS created by our charity are CHERUBS' intellectual property in any way is a crime publishable by law. This includes any graphics that CDH International / CHERUBS made with the ribbon, such as the popular ribbon with wings or heart-shaped ribbon. You MAY NOT USE ANY graphics made by CDH International / CHERUBS without permission for any personal, profitable or nonprofit use.
*** Submission of Content to CHERUBS:
All photographs of patients and families that are submitted to our organization are copyrighted, intellectual property of said persons and used with permission by CDH International / CHERUBS once submitted to be used to help the cause. CDH International / CHERUBS follows all GDPR and HIPAA guidelines.
*** Trademarks:
"CHERUBS™, "CDH International", "CDHi", "CHERUBS - The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support ™, "Save the Cherubs™" and "CHERUBS™"(name and picture) are all trademarked entities of CHERUBS - The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support. This includes all variations of these trademarks with the names of any countries or states such as "CDH International UK" or "CHERUBS Ireland", etc. They may NOT be reprinted or used in anyway without CDH International / CHERUBS's approval.
*** Services and Materials:
Our services, products, projects and materials may not be copied, edited or reproduced without explicit permission of CDH International. This includes, but is not limited to; "Save the Cherubs" CDH Awareness photography project, CDH Awareness lobbying events on Capitol Hill, "Parades of Cherubs" of children wearing wings, CDH HOPE Totebags, CHERUBS CDH Conferences, CDH Baby Book, CDH Parent Reference Guide, CDH State Get-Togethers, our volunteer structure and materials, "Masquerading Angels Ball" masquerade ball for CDH, CDH Research Survey for parents, CDH Fundraising Kits, CDH Hospital Kits, CDH Awareness Kits, Silver Lining CDH Newsletter, CDH Family Forums and other known and well publicized charity projects, events, products and materials.
*** Other Organizations:
CDH International / CHERUBS only publicly supports and refers those organizations who are members of the Alliance of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Organizations. CDH International / CHERUBS does not have the time or resources to help other charities or to help others start new charities as those resources are need to continue the function of our own charity.
*** Individual Posting:
Our social media accounts are set as PUBLIC. Should you post on either page, you are doing so at your own risk. CDH International / CHERUBS is not held responsible for any negative outcome this action can cause. CDH International / CHERUBS holds to right to delete any comments (at any time) we believe are not appropriate.
*** Posting of Personal Fundraising Pages on CHERUBS Social Media:
CDH International / CHERUBS does not allow the posting/reposting of personal fundraising pages such as GoFundMe.org ect. or fundraising or promotion for other organizations or hospitals who not members of ACDHO. All links will be deleted without notice.
*** Hours of Operation:
Emails are answered Monday-Saturday from 10a-10p EST. CDH International / CHERUBS is closed every Sunday. (this includes all of our Social Media Accounts)
All Emails, phone calls and Social Media postings will resume the following Monday morning.
*** Events:
All charity events are to be open to members only unless otherwise stated. They are not to be used in an non-charity capacity such as to promote other events, individuals or organizations without the express permission of CDH International / CHERUBS. All laws and venue guidelines must be adhered to by attendees. All charity rules stated must be adhered to by attendees.
*** Third Party Fundraising:
We encourage all supporters to raise awareness and funds so we can continue our mission. We cannot provide materials or other resources to fundraise for hospitals or individuals. We do not fundraise for individuals as that is illegal. Please contact us prior to planning a CDH International / CHERUBS Fundraising Event.
*** Doctors & Hospitals:
By law and ethics, CDH International / CHERUBS does not sponsor or endorse any specific hospital or doctor.
