Most people focus on food…
but ignore the one thing that changes everything:

👉🏾 Muscle

Without it:
• Energy drops
• Blood sugar rises
• Strength declines

With it:
• More energy ⚡
• Better glucose control
• Stronger, more independent life

This isn’t about looking fit…
this is about staying in control of your body as you age.

Because muscle doesn’t just change how you look…
👉🏾 it controls your blood sugar ALL day 🤎

If you’ve been feeling stuck, tired, or like nothing is working… this might be what you’ve been missing.

👉🏾 Comment PLAN and I’ll send you a simple way to get started 🤎

Still smiling about the connections made at last week’s Health & Wellness Expo. 🤎

It was such a beautiful opportunity to come together, share our experiences, and have real conversations about health, wellness up, and taking better care of ourselves and our communities.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the day meaningful. I’m grateful to have shared the space with so many amazing people doing important work.

Thank you for the conversations, the connections, and the community. Until next time! 🤎

Still here. Still scared. Still showing up.

This is what taking care of yourself actually looks like sometimes. Not a home workout. Not a meal plan. Just showing up for the hard appointment you’ve been putting off.

You don’t have to feel ready to do the right thing for your body.

If you needed this today too, drop a 🤍 below.

I’m checking myself into the hospital for a procedure on my heart.

I coach women on protecting their hearts — this week, I’m the one listening to what my body is telling me.

Handling it before it breaks down. Not after.

My favorite place is still my son. This is me doing everything I can to stay well for my favorite people — not because I have it all figured out, but because showing up for the hard parts is the whole point, even scared.

Sending myself the same grace I ask you to have for yourself. 🤎

If you’re showing up for something hard this week too, drop a 🤍 below.

Miss Debbie is proof that reaching a goal doesn’t mean the work stops. 🤎

There were days she didn’t feel like getting out and moving—but she kept showing up.

That same commitment helped her on her Type 2 diabetes journey. Today, she shares that she’s in remission and off her diabetes medications, and she’s still building habits to support her health.

Because consistency isn’t just about reaching the goal. It’s about creating a lifestyle that helps you keep moving forward.

So if you don’t feel like moving today, remember Miss Debbie’s words: keep showing up. 🤎

Miss Debbie’s experience is individual. Medication changes should always be discussed with your healthcare provider.

"Sleep. Deep sleep is where the fat burn actually happens — I protect it like it's part of the workout now."

Food. It was never possible to out-train a bad diet, restrictions or not. And now, getting enough protein isn't optional — it's how I protect the muscle I already have."

"Movement. Instead of bootcamps, we're taking walks and doing mobility work. There will be times we can't do what we once could — that does not mean we do nothing.

"Restrictions changed how I move. They didn't change that I'm still going after my health goals."

Sometimes you don’t need another list of what to eat and what not to eat. You need someone to help you understand what works for YOUR body. 🤎

Taj had been searching for answers, but what she really wanted was to learn. Through tracking, guidance, and understanding how her choices affected her body, things finally started making sense.

And 90 days later, she walked into her doctor’s office able to say:

“I did it. I did it.” 🤎

That’s what the right education and support can change.

👉🏾 Comment READY if you’re ready to stop guessing and talk about working together. 🤎

Turns out I have a genetic heart condition that caused it. Sigh.

No heavy weights. Heart rate can’t go over 150. I’m wearing a wearable defibrillator now because apparently my heart going off rhythm is a real risk.

Content’s still about moms and diabetes remission. But it’s also going to be about my heart now, and staying on track when everything feels different. Less bootcamps, more soft walks.

I know God has a plan for me. I hope you’ll join me 🙏🏾

I appreciate every well wish and prayer more than you know.

I got invited to speak on a Chamber of Commerce health panel this weekend 🙏🏾

The topic: sleep, metabolic health, and sustainable habits.

One thing I told the room stuck with me too — a tired body is a hungry body. When you’re running on empty, your hormones don’t know the difference between “exhausted” and “starving.” That’s why the cravings hit harder and your blood sugar gets harder to manage, even on your best eating days.

Sleep isn’t the reward for a good day. It’s the foundation for one.

If this is hitting home, DM me READY and let’s talk 👏🏾
