A client once came to me because she couldn't relax.

She described herself as anxious, but not in the way most people think of anxiety. She wasn't having panic attacks. She wasn't constantly worried.

Instead, she had headaches. Tight shoulders. A sore jaw from clenching her teeth. Trouble sleeping. Digestive issues that seemed to come and go without explanation.

She had accepted these symptoms as "normal."

As we worked together, she began to understand that her body had been carrying stress for so long that it no longer knew how to let go. Her nervous system had become stuck in a state of protection.

The body wasn't failing her. It was trying to keep her safe.

When we started listening to what her body was communicating and supporting her nervous system in a different way, things began to shift.

The headaches became less frequent. Sleep improved. Her shoulders softened. She felt calmer, not because she forced herself to relax, but because her body finally remembered how.

Sometimes anxiety isn't just in the mind.

Sometimes it's the story the body has been telling all along.

One of the things I value most is taking the time to truly understand the person in front of me.

Your first appointment with me is a 75-minute intake session where we'll discuss your health history, your concerns, and your goals. I'll complete an assessment, develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to you, and provide approximately 45 minutes of hands-on treatment.

I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. Every person has a unique story, and my goal is to meet you where you are and support you on your journey toward greater health, balance, and well-being.

Ever notice that when it gets really hot outside, everything feels a little harder?

You might feel more tired, more irritable, less focused, or just not quite yourself. Heat can be surprisingly demanding on the body, especially if you're already dealing with stress, pain, fatigue, or poor sleep.

I've had many clients tell me they feel "off" during stretches of hot weather, and there's usually a good reason for it. Your body is working overtime to keep you cool.

This is your reminder that it's okay to slow down. Drink the water. Take the break. Sit in the shade. Put off the nonessential tasks until tomorrow.

Your body is always communicating with you.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that occupational therapy is only for recovering from an injury.

While that can certainly be part of it, holistic OT goes much deeper.

Pain, tension, fatigue, stress, sleep, emotions, and daily routines are all connected. When we take time to look at the whole picture, we often uncover patterns that have been contributing to symptoms for years.

The body has a remarkable ability to heal when it's given the right support.

Most people don't realize they're clenching their jaw until someone points it out.

Stress has a funny way of sneaking into the body. Tight shoulders. A clenched jaw. Holding your breath without even noticing.

So here's your reminder to relax your jaw, drop your shoulders, and take one slow breath.

Most people come to me because something hurts. But what we work on together usually goes deeper than the pain itself.

Our bodies hold stress, tension, old patterns, and sometimes things we haven't fully processed. Through bodywork, conversation, gentle guidance, and movement, I help you reconnect with what your body has been trying to tell you.

Every session is different because every person is different. We start where you are and follow what you need that day.

There is nothing better than hearing how someone feels after working together.

Not every emotional release looks like crying on a therapy couch.
Sometimes it looks like your shoulders finally dropping for the first time in months.
A deeper breath.
A quieter mind.
Leaving a session feeling more like yourself again and not even fully realizing why yet.

The body keeps score of stress, overwhelm, grief, burnout, and life in general. Craniosacral Therapy creates space for the nervous system to slow down enough to process what’s been stuck beneath the surface.

It’s subtle work.
But subtle doesn’t mean small.
