During the Arkansas EMT Association Annual Conference in Hot Springs on Thursday, August 6, ProMed Ambulance and Survival Flight 9 were honored as the 2026 Arkansas EMS for Children (EMSC) Pediatric Crew of the Year for the actions that helped save the life of three-year-old Scarlett.

Survival Flight is incredibly honored to share this recognition with ProMed and, above all, grateful to Scarlett’s family for entrusting us with the care of someone so precious to them.

Survival Flight 9 had the opportunity to assist St. Bernards Healthcare with their Leadership Jonesboro Class Rural LVO Patient Journey Map. Our crew loaded and transported a mock patient to the neuro lab, helping provide a realistic look at the critical steps involved in patient care.
