Most people have heard that red light therapy can help reduce wrinkles.
But that's only part of the story.
Human clinical research has shown improvements in wrinkle depth, skin firmness, elasticity, collagen density, complexion, and overall skin quality when the correct treatment parameters are used. The key point is that the results seen in published studies don't come from just any red light device they come from devices using carefully selected wavelengths, appropriate treatment times, and sufficient light intensity.
One of the largest randomized controlled human trials by Wunsch & Matuschka followed 136 volunteers and found significant improvements in:
