She’s been struggling with a lot of symptoms over the past several weeks before she hired me.
Very hormone driven
Lots of stress related

It stuck with me after she asked that last night, “what if we don’t find anything?”

That fear is so valid.

So many women go to the doctor because they don’t feel like themselves anymore, only to be told that everything looks normal.

You’re just stressed.
Have you tried eating less?
Are you sure you’re exercising enough?

And after hearing that enough times, it becomes this exhausting cycle where you start questioning yourself.

You feel frustrated and defeated. It’s like you’re stuck living in a body that you don’t recognize anymore.

Here’s what I told her & it’s important that you know this too:

We will find answers.

Not because I’m chasing symptoms or trying to diagnose anything through labs. That’s not the goal.

What I’m looking at is:
👉WHY is your body struggling right now?
👉WHY are these symptoms happening?
👉WHY don’t you feel like yourself anymore?

When I look at testing, I’m not simply asking: “Is this normal or not?”

I’m asking:
✨What is your body needing right now?
✨What stressors are affecting it?
✨What nutrient imbalances are showing up?
✨What lifestyle factors could be contributing?

And when it comes to bloodwork, I look through a more functional lens rather than just a traditional one.

Because most “normal” lab ranges are based on a population that is already unwell.

I’m looking at:
✅How do we support your body into a more optimal state?
✅How do we help your body feel safe enough to heal?
✅How do we address what’s actually driving the dysfunction?

You see how it’s so different from what you’ve tried before?

Celebrating a milestone this morning 💜

This work means the world to me and I’ll never take for granted that I’ve found a career where I get to help others find answers to their health problems.

Healing won’t always look like some big before & after photo.

Sometimes healing looks like eating ice cream on a long car ride home with your husband next to you. Feeling relaxed, enjoying the conversation and realizing your body no longer feels like an emergency!

It wasn’t even the ice cream that hit me.

It was the fact that there was a time in my life where I would intentionally NOT eat before or during car rides because I was terrified of needing to use the bathroom when I couldn’t stop.

So I would go hours without eating. Not because I wanted to, but because I was scared.

Scared of the cramping.
Scared of the urgency.
Scared of feeling trapped in a car wondering “What if my stomach start acting up right now?”

Some of you know what this feels like. Your whole life starts to quietly revolve around your digestion.

👉Where the bathrooms are
👉How long the drive is
👉Whether you should eat beforehand
👉Whether food is safe
👉Whether your stomach will embarrass you

And after a while, you stop realizing how abnormal it even is because you’ve adapted to it for so long.

That’s why the ice cream mattered. Even after all these years, these little moments still matter to me.

I cannot explain to you enough how much peace there is in all of this.

The biggest shift won’t always come from the food.

It’s learning to make your body feel safe again

This goes deeper than meditating. Or monthly massages. Chiropractic adjustments. Journaling.

I want to look at your mineral levels as well.

Minerals like magnesium & sodium are absolutely crucial to how our body handles every day stress and how well our nervous system stays regulated.

As with anything though; it's just ONE piece to the puzzle.

I used to go out to eat and feel painfully full before my actual meal even arrived.

A side salad
One roll
Few bites of dinner

That was enough to make me feel heavy, bloated, and uncomfortable for the rest of the night.

People used to say that I would eat like a bird.

But underneath the surface, my digestion was struggling.

What changed wasn't an elimination diet or eating cleaner.

I started supporting my body differently:
🫶eating regular meals throughout the day
🫶stopping the habit of saving all of my food for one big meal later
🫶supporting stomach acid and digestion instead of overwhelming it with huge drinks at meals
🫶focusing on minerals and digestive capacity, not just food avoidance

Now I can enjoy a meal out & continue on with my night feeling normal.

It’s often a sign that your body is struggling with:
👉 digestive capacity
👉 stress load
👉 mineral balance
👉 gut function
👉 motility
👉 food breakdown & tolerance

And that’s why removing foods only works for so long.

When you can dial in and determine your personal tipping point your digestion needs; your body stops being so reactive to meals.
