AI only knows the information you give it

If you are using AI to answer medical questions, keep in mind that AI lacks context. This means that AI only analyzes patterns in data, rather than looking at the whole situation, causing it to miss important details.

For example, if you type into AI that you are experiencing excess gas, AI may give you a diagnoses. AI does not know that you had a lot of high-fiber foods the night before.

Practice good habits with AI and NEVER share your sensitive or personal medical information with it.

If you have a question about your health, call your health center. Our Triage Nurses or on-call clinicians can help direct you to next steps with judgement-free support based on years of experience and training. We're here for you.

Recognizing Men's Health Month

Last Wednesday, employees across all of our HealthReach sites celebrated Men's Health Month by wearing blue!

This month focuses on encouraging healthy habits and preventative care for men, particularly for mental health support. Nearly 1 in 10 men experience depression or anxiety, but less than 50% receive treatment. Supporting whole-body health includes addressing thoughts and behaviors impacting day-to-day life.

Thank you HealthReach clinicians and staff for your continued support for men's health, and for all that you do to keep our communities healthy!
