When asked what the most helpful part of working with her peer counselor was, she stated, " When I felt like I wasn’t making enough milk for my little one, my peer counselor helped me find the confidence again to keep going. Gave me information on ways to help production and things to avoid that could be affecting it.” An example of how she helped me with my breastfeeding goals was, " The support helped me be informed of the dos and don’ts as well as helping me have the confidence in continuing.”

"My peer counselor is great and I appreciate her so much!” Would definitely recommend the Breastfeeding Peer Program to other parents!
