2 birthdays, in 2 days? Whoop whoop! However TODAY is actually both of there birthdays 🥰
That meant 2 days in a row of delicious birthday meals picked out by our birthday ladies, and 2 days of cake and ice cream ❤️ never can have enough cake and ice cream. We feel so blessed and honored to share your special day(s) with you Nancy and Janice. Wishing you both a very blessed year.

The 2nd aide position is perfect for a high school student looking into pursuing a career in healthcare and just dip their toes into seeing what it entails. Kernels weekend fun!
Marlene hosted our yearly SIAL carnival on Friday. Of course we had mini donuts and funnel cake fries for snack that day too! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this possible for the residents. Marlene and Rosalie represented Shepherds Inn for the kernels parade. The residents also got to enjoy the Dixie land band after the parade outside of shepherds inn.
Thank you to everyone who made these 2 events a great success and enjoyable for our residents.

Last week we celebrated Lois and Rosalie birthdays 🎂 they both got to pick out their birthday meals, Lois chose pork roast and Rosalie chose roast beef. They enjoyed angel food cake and a marble cake with residents.

We currently have 2 part time resident assistant positions available. Day shift 6:30am-3pm or overnight shift 11pm-8am. If you enjoy caring for others this might be the opportunity you’re looking for. We are willing to train the right candidate but experience preferred. I missed posting these pictures. Quite a few weeks back, Marlene our activities Director took residents over to the library to listen to polka music. It’s so great all of the different things the wells public library has for young, middle age to elderly activities going on.

We are rolling out a new program here at Shepherds Inn. We will also be offering respite care for families/spouses who take care of a loved one and could use a week break/vacation and know there loved one is still being cared for 24/7. Yesterday we celebrated Kay’s birthday 🎂
She had lots of wonderful family join her with the residents for some delicious chocolate cake 🍰 and ice cream 🍨 to celebrate her special day.
