It's summertime, though this weather sure doesn't make it feel that way! Nevertheless, this is your reminder to stay hydrated this summer. The human body contains more than 60% water, so staying consistent in your water intake is extremely important. Most doctors recommend drinking 11.5-15.5 cups of water per day. While that does sound daunting to some, carrying around a water bottle with you may help you reach your goal!

Our Father's Day Fish Fry is a wonderful opportunity to gather, share stories, enjoy great food, and honor the men who have provided wisdom, guidance, laughter, and love through the years.

🎶 Westminster Village was delighted to welcome the Tippecanotes this week for a wonderful evening of music and entertainment!

Founded in 1947, the Tippecanotes are a local nonprofit a ca****la chorus made up of talented men and women who share a passion for singing and community. Affiliated with the Barbershop Harmony Society, they brought energy, harmony, and plenty of smiles to our residents.

Thank you to the Tippecanotes for sharing your time, talent, and love of music with us. We always enjoy celebrating the incredible local organizations that help make our community so special! 🎵💙

In the early 2000s, Westminster Village was "Growing from Good to Great!"

This decade brought significant growth to our campus, including the expansion of our cottage neighborhood, renovations to the main building, and enhancements to our continuum of care. These improvements helped ensure Westminster Village could continue meeting the needs of older adults for generations to come.

As we celebrate 50 years, we're proud of the vision that shaped Westminster Village then and grateful for the strong community that continues to shape it today.

💚 And if history has taught us anything, it's that Westminster Village is always looking toward the future.

Batter up! ⚾️ Our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a beautiful day at the Lafayette Aviators baseball game, cheering on the home team, sharing laughs with friends, and soaking up some summer sunshine. There's nothing quite like the excitement of baseball, good company, and making memories together. ❤️💙

As we celebrate 50 years of Westminster Village, we're proud to share a milestone that speaks volumes about our community today:

Westminster Village is officially 100% OCCUPIED in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care!

When Westminster Village first opened its doors in 1976, the vision was simple yet powerful: create a community where older adults could live with purpose, connection, and peace of mind. What began as a small campus has grown into a thriving community that generations of residents have proudly called home.

Over the past five decades, Westminster Village has evolved to meet the changing needs and interests of older adults. From campus expansions and renovations to new amenities, programs, and services, our commitment has remained the same: providing a place where residents can truly live connected and live well.

Today, that vision is stronger than ever. With 110 independent living apartments, 54 cottages, 54 hybrid homes, 58 assisted living apartments, and 14 memory care suites. While our buildings and programs have changed over the years, the heart of Westminster Village has remained constant: the incredible residents who make this community such a special place to call home.

As we reflect on 50 years of growth, friendship, and community, we are grateful to everyone who has been part of the Westminster Village story. Reaching full occupancy across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care is more than a milestone. It is a testament to the trust our residents and families place in us and the vibrant community they help create every day.
