I’m super excited to share that Dr. Laurali Walters, PT, DPT, will be joining my practice this fall!

I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Laura before she attended PT school and have been able to mentor her over the past few years. She has always had a natural understanding of this work, and her heart for helping others makes her such a great fit for the team!

Laura will begin seeing clients this fall and will help expand the services we offer. In addition to Fascial Therapy, we’ll be offering 1:1 PT services focused on strength, movement, recovery, and performance, personalized to each client’s goals. We’ll also offer in-home concierge Physical Therapy services!

I’m excited for this next chapter, grateful to have Laura joining the team, and looking forward to seeing where God leads us ❤️.

For the past several years, I’ve found myself assessing the body through a different lens.

A lens that considers how tension patterns, compensation, breathing, posture, nervous system involvement, and fascia are all deeply connected.

That perspective eventually became Restorative Fascial Therapy.

RFT Foundations is a two-day, hands-on training for those wanting to better understand whole-body fascial patterns, assessment, and fascial unwinding techniques through a connected systems approach.

The course is approved for 14 contact hours for Louisiana PTs, with additional states currently pending approval.

I currently have a couple spots remaining in my upcoming trainings.

Comment “TRAINING” and I’ll send over the registration link!

About seven years ago, I was walking with my coworkers and talking about this dream I had of traveling with my family one day. I wanted a camper, more freedom, more adventure, and a life that looked different than the one we were currently living. Back then, I genuinely thought that meant working travel PT contracts someday.

I never could’ve imagined I’d end up developing such a deep passion for fascial work, building my own business, and creating a life where we really do travel together regularly through my work.

Life has unfolded very differently than I once imagined, but I’m incredibly grateful for the direction it has taken us.

Fascial therapy. Cash-based practice. Small business owner. Physical therapist. Holistic lifestyle. Time freedom.

One thing I’ve learned over the years as both a PT and a mom is that oral function is connected to so much more than just the mouth.

For years, my son struggled with chronic mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, and tension patterns throughout his body.

As we’ve started supporting his oral development with a guided growth appliance, we’ve also intentionally supported his body through fascial unwinding and nervous system regulation.

Fascia surrounds every tooth and connects throughout the entire body. When the palate, jaw, tongue posture, and oral structures begin changing, the rest of the body adapts too.

We use fascial unwinding alongside a guided growth appliance to help support palate development, improve resting tongue posture, and help the body adapt to and integrate those changes.

Over the past month, we’ve noticed:
• no more snoring
• deeper sleep
• less daytime mouth breathing
• improved posture
• a calmer nervous system

The body is always connected.

If you’re interested in what we’re currently using for palate development and oral support, comment below and I’ll send it over!

My friends Jenna, Katie, and I just hosted our first (of many) 3 day women’s retreat. Jenna has been dreaming, planning, and praying over this retreat for the past year, and it was so special to watch that vision come to life. It truly became more than we could have imagined. God had His hand in every detail.

The weekend was filled with holistic wellness modalities including fascial unwinding, biofeedback scanning, emotional support work, and heart healing prayer sessions. We shared nourishing meals, intentional rest, and space for women to slow down and be poured into.

With hiking trails, a saltwater mineral pool, sauna, paddle boats, hammocks, and peaceful spaces to simply breathe, it was the kind of weekend every woman needs!

There comes a point where you realize something isn’t sustainable, even if it’s what you worked so hard for.

For me, it was the pace, the pressure, and the lack of time to truly care for people the way I knew they needed. And the bigger realization was that it wasn’t just affecting my work, it was affecting my personal life too.

So I chose a different path. Not because it was easier or perfect, but because it felt much more aligned with how I actually wanted to live and practice. And that decision has given me more time, more flexibility, and a way of working that feels like mine.

If you’ve ever felt like something in your life or career just doesn’t fit anymore, you’re not crazy. Sometimes it’s not about pushing harder… it’s about choosing differently.

Chiropractic and fascial therapy work together in such a powerful way because we’re not just chasing symptoms, we’re supporting how the whole body moves, adapts, and heals.

For February, Dr. Jamie and I teamed up to make it easier to start both. Book an initial visit with each of us and receive the discounted rate for both appointments.

If you’ve been thinking about trying one or the other, this is a really good place to start!

People ask me all the time—can emotions really be stored in the body?

The short answer?
Yes.

Fascia isn’t just some connective tissue wrapping. It’s alive. It’s intelligent. It’s responsive. It holds the shape of your experiences—posture, tension, injury, and yes… trauma.

I’ve had clients move into the exact position their body froze in years ago—during a car accident, sports injury, or something they can’t even fully name. I don’t tell their body to do that. It just knows.

There’s even research now showing that emotional memory isn’t just metaphor—it’s biological. Scientists have identified proteins and cellular “marks” that store emotional states, especially fear, inside specific neurons (called engram cells). The body literally codes the experience into tissue. Wild, right?

But here’s what’s even more powerful:
Your body doesn’t just hold—it can release.
And when it feels safe enough to unwind, it doesn’t need your brain to explain it.
It just needs your presence.

You don’t have to force the story out of your body.
You just have to listen to the language it’s been speaking all along.

There’s so much that moms can do to help their babies thrive—but a lot of it just isn’t talked about.

We’re told to “wait and see,” or that they’ll “grow out of it.” But the truth is, tension in the body doesn’t just disappear—it shows up in other ways as our kids grow: mouth breathing, sleep issues, ear infections, behavior challenges, ADD/ ADHD, bed wetting, growing pains, stomach aches, headaches, and more.

This workshop is all about helping you understand what’s going on in your child’s body—and how you can help.

You don’t need to be a professional. You just need your hands, your attention, and a willingness to learn. I’ll guide you through simple, hands-on tools you can use every day to support your child’s nervous system, oral function, and overall health.

Because no one knows your child like you do—and your touch is powerful.

You’ve stretched. You’ve foam rolled. You’ve tried yoga.
But the pain and tension just keep coming back.

That’s because the root issue is in the fascia—your body’s connective tissue web that holds onto stress, emotion, trauma, and old patterns.

Fascia softens when it feels safe. It releases when it’s supported.

That’s the difference between forceful stretching and the body-led unwinding work I do.

It’s not one-size-fits-all.
It’s deeply individualized.
And it gets to the root.

If your body still feels stuck after trying all the things—this work might be what you’ve been missing.
