CARP, Inc.

CARP, Inc. Mission: Serving the Alcoholic and Drug Addicted Underserved. Est. 1972. Each resident earns his or her own way, and is be expected to become self-supporting.

CARP has resumed its original mission, to serve the underserved alcoholic and drug addicted, and has built two gender-specific 12-step homes. Each home has 24 beds and provides a stable home-like environment for homeless and/or indigent men and women suffering from alcohol or drug addiction in Palm Beach County, so they may practice living a life of recovery embodied in the 12 Steps. CARP residenc

es employ a peer-to-peer, 12-step recovery model proven to be effective against addiction. We collaborate with numerous community services in Palm Beach County to empower the residents, providing them with tools to become productive members of society. Meetings are mandatory. Facilitators make certain that all residents participate, with sponsorship. Residents who leave the residency programs are invited to continue to be a part of CARP’s community to ensure its long-term strength and sustainability.
