Studies suggest about half of patients show signs of osteoarthritis within 10 years of ACL reconstruction. For someone who tears their ACL in high school, that can mean arthritis symptoms in their 20s.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jocelyn Wittstein shares why she pays close attention to this in our latest blog: "I am deeply worried about teenagers having arthritis when they are 25."
