There was a Sugar Rush at Springbrook today! 🍪🍰

We hosted a bake sale to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association, and thanks to our amazing staff and supporters, we raised over $200! A big thank you to everyone who helped organize, baked, donated, and of course, ate their way through today’s fundraiser! 💜

🧡 WHY I STAY: Miriam H. | Springbrook Center

After 30 years at Springbrook, Miriam H., our Activities Director, knows what makes this place special.

When asked what keeps her here, her answer was simple:

“These people are my heart.” 🧡

For Miriam, it’s the longevity of the staff, teamwork, and having the same goal—making our residents feel loved and like family.

One of her most meaningful relationships has been with a non-verbal resident who initially didn’t want to participate in activities. Through time, patience, and connection, Miriam learned to understand her so well that today, she wants to do everything!

“I now understand her so well.”

And what would Miriam tell someone thinking about joining Springbrook?

“We are a fun, supportive team who are here to help in any way we can.” 🧡

After 30 years, Miriam is still here—and we think that says a lot about the people who make Springbrook special.

📚✏️ Back to School at Springbrook! 🍎🎒

Back-to-school season isn’t just for the kids! Our Springbrook team had some fun celebrating by sharing throwback school photos of themselves from years ago, along with photos of their own kids heading off for their first day of school this year.

It was such a fun way to bring our team together, share a few laughs, and celebrate all the exciting new beginnings happening in our Springbrook families this fall. ♥️

🎉Celebrating 30 Years of Music & Memories! 🎉

🌻Our residents wanted to show just how much their visits have meant over the years, so they surprised The Jubilees with flowers as a special thank you.
