County Recovery Resources Network

County Recovery Resources Network CoRRN's mission: "To promote a healthier community, we connect people and organizations to expand recovery for all."
(1)

CoRRN is simply a group of local people, including psychologists, doctors specializing in recovery, life/health/recovery coaches, and other local people, who want to see Lewis County come together using resources we currently have to help make our community a healthier, safer place to live. We want to reduce stigma that is associated with recovery. We want to network with other resources to help p

eople be empowered to heal and overcome obstacles that can stand in the way of recovery. Watch this page for updates on meeting places and times. If you are interested in having one of our members speak at your meeting or event, contact us! We believe respect and kindness is a basic necessity and will delete obscene language and bullying comments as seen by the administrators.

We have received word from ODMAP that an overdose spike alert has been issued in the Columbus, Ohio, area (Franklin County). Our community, as indicated by predictive modeling from ODMAP, is at risk of an overdose spike.

This predictive alert is crucial for staying ahead of potential dangers. Wood County, WV, has also had an overdose spike alert issued. While it is unclear if the two are connected, we want to make you aware of these alerts. Please share this advisory information with your groups. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if we can assist you further. If you notice an increase in your numbers, please don't hesitate to contact us.

🔹 Proactive measures could include any or all of the following:
* Carry Naloxone: Be prepared with naloxone. Though there isn't an active spike, based on predictive data, being equipped is essential.
* Test Your Supply: Use test strips to stay informed about potential dangers. Knowledge about your supply is key.
* Never Use Alone: Even in the absence of an active spike, it's crucial to prioritize safety. Always have someone with you.
* Stay informed, stay vigilant. While this is not an active spike alert, your proactive actions can significantly mitigate risks.
