The Grecian Urn Neck Lift is a specialized surgical approach designed to improve neck contour and create a more defined jawline.

In this video, I’m performing a Grecian Urn Neck Lift, focusing on the underlying structures that contribute to the shape and definition of the neck. This procedure can address concerns such as excess skin, muscle laxity, and a less defined neck contour, depending on each patient’s anatomy and needs.

My goal is to create a natural-looking result that enhances your features without changing what makes you unique.

What does your body need nutritionally after facial plastic surgery? Whether you’re recovering from a facelift, rhinoplasty, or eyelid surgery, here are some ideas of what to put on your post-op grocery list.

What you eat in the first two weeks matters. Swelling, bruising and incision healing all respond to what’s on your plate, so stock up on hydration, protein, fruit, greens and fiber before surgery day.

Swipe for three simple recovery recipes that are easy to eat while your face heals. 🍎🎃🧡

Save this for your recovery week, and share it with someone who has surgery coming up. These are general guidelines. Your surgical instructions always come first.

October is the perfect time to start the process. As the weather turns and we all spend more time indoors, fall and winter make recovery easier to fit into your life. Call 412.621.3223 to speak with one of my patient care coordinators.

One year post-op! ✨

Rhinoplasty is about more than changing the nose. It’s about refining the features in a way that complements the rest of the face.

This patient’s cosmetic rhinoplasty was thoughtfully planned to refine her nasal profile while preserving the features that make her uniquely her. One year later, her result looks soft, balanced, and completely natural.

At this stage, we can appreciate how the nose has healed and settled, revealing the final result. She’s loving her new look, and the goal was never to make her look like someone else. It was to help her feel confident while still looking like herself.

Your face. My only focus.

Weight loss can bring exciting changes, but sometimes it can also leave you noticing changes in your face and neck that affect how you feel about your appearance.

In part 2 of this patient’s journey, I sit down with him before his Grecian Urn Neck Lift to discuss his concerns about facial volume loss and his treatment goals. For him, this procedure is about more than appearance. It’s about feeling confident in the changes he’s made and how he looks.

Make sure to hit that follow button so you don't miss the rest of his journey! 👀

Not every patient who wants to improve their neck needs an entire facelift. 💫

In part 1, I sit down with my patient to discuss his motivation for undergoing a Grecian Urn Neck Lift and what led him to consider this procedure.

For patients primarily concerned with the appearance of their neck, it’s important to understand what a neck lift alone can address and when a more comprehensive approach may be worth considering.

Watch to hear his perspective and my advice for anyone considering a Grecian Urn Neck Lift instead of a full facelift. Have questions? Comment below! ⬇️

One week to five weeks post-op! ✨

Rhinoplasty results don’t happen overnight. The early weeks are a period of significant healing, with swelling and subtle changes continuing to settle as the nose takes shape.

Here, we’re sharing her progress from 1 week to 5 weeks after rhinoplasty to show how much can change in just one month.

At five weeks, she is still very much in the healing process, and her results will continue to refine as swelling decreases and the tissues settle.
Every rhinoplasty is tailored to the individual, with the goal of creating a natural result that fits the patient’s face.

Your face. My only focus.

The AAFPRS meeting gave me the chance to catch up with colleagues, learn from some of the best in the field, and, most importantly, run into some familiar faces. 😊

Seeing Stacey again was definitely a highlight! She was such an important part of my practice for many years, and it was so great to reconnect and see all that she’s doing now.

I know many of our patients will remember Stacey, too. She made such a lasting impact on our practice, our team, and the patients she cared for, and I’m incredibly proud of her.

There are a lot of people who have helped shape this practice over the years, and I’m grateful for every one of them. It’s always fun when the past and present come together! ❤️

I had a few fabulous days in Las Vegas at the AAFPRS Annual Meeting, catching up with friends and colleagues from all over the country and around the world.

It’s so important to reconnect with dear friends and colleagues. Every year, I learn something new and come home a little better at what I do.

Grateful for this community!

Facelift surgery has come a long way, and this is not the same facelift I was performing 10 years ago! 💫

In this video, I take you up close to show you this patient’s incisions and early healing after her Preservation Extended Deep Plane Face & Neck Lift with Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty.

The preservation approach has continued to evolve, allowing us to refine how we approach facial rejuvenation while keeping the results natural and maintaining the patient’s individual features. Even at this early stage, her incisions are healing beautifully.

If you’re considering a deep plane facelift, neck lift, or eyelid surgery, you won’t want to miss this insightful look at the procedure and the healing process. Have questions? Comment below! ⬇️

What does a natural facelift result really look like? 🤔 Let’s take a look at this patient’s journey.

In this video, I sit down with my patient after her deep plane facelift, neck lift, upper blepharoplasty, and lower blepharoplasty to look back at her before-and-after photos and hear her thoughts on her transformation.

One of the things she loves most is that you can see the difference, but her results still look natural and like herself. For me, that is always the goal with facial plastic surgery: creating meaningful rejuvenation without making someone look overdone or unlike themselves.

Watch Part 1 of her facelift and eyelid surgery journey, and stay tuned for Part 2. 🤍
