❓ You ask, I answer! I've compiled some of the most frequently asked questions I get as a mobile IV Nurse.
Have a question you’ve been wondering about? Drop it in the comments!
Q: How can I schedule my IV appointment? 📆
A: You can easily book by following the links posted here! To book with me directly, you can visit the linktree link and click "Text to Book." To book through the company website, simply go to www.mobileivnurses.com.
Q: Is there somewhere I can send questions about the service?
A: Yes! Basic info on packages and pricing are here on my professional page, and also on the company website, www.mobilivnurses.com. I also have an information request form on linktree which will send your questions directly to my professional email.
Q: How can I expect to hear from you after I've sent a booking request or information request?
A: In addition to running my wellness business, I also work as a critical care RN in the hospital. Because of my ICU schedule, responses to inquiries submitted through my booking link or contact form may come via text message for quicker communication and scheduling. If questions sent via the contact form to my email are extensive, I may respond via email, which may take a little longer. I try my best to respond in a timely manner regardless of how messages are sent.
Q: Do IV vitamins actually work?
A: IV therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into your bloodstream for fast absorption. Many people report improved hydration, energy, recovery, and overall wellness after treatment.
Q: Who benefits most from IV hydration?
A: Busy professionals, athletes, travelers, shift workers, people recovering from illness, migraine sufferers, and anyone feeling run down or dehydrated.
Q: Can IV hydration help hangovers?
A: Yes — fluids, electrolytes, and vitamins may help support hydration and recovery after a long night.
Q: How long does an IV session take?
A: Most appointments take about 45–60 minutes depending on the infusion.
Q: Do I need to be medically cleared before getting an IV?
A: Yes! Before your initial IV appointment, all clients complete a quick telehealth screening with a licensed Nurse Practitioner, with the RN on-site. This includes your consents as well, and is a $30 additional cost. During the video visit, we review your medical history, medications, allergies, and wellness goals to make sure IV therapy is safe and appropriate for you. Clearance is valid for one year, or unless you have a major health change or hospitalization before the year-mark.
Q: Are there any conditions that would prevent me from being able to get IV therapy?
A: Yes. Within the company I work with, Mobile IV Nurses, we do not treat clients with certain conditions, such as heart failure, kidney disease, or liver disease. We also have strict protocols for pregnancy, clotting disorders, stroke, and cancer patients. They may be treated, but may be more limited in what they can receive.
Q: How often should I get IV therapy?
A: It depends on your goals! Some clients come weekly, others monthly, and some only when they’re feeling depleted or sick.
Q: Can IV therapy boost immunity?
A: Certain vitamin blends may help support immune health, hydration, and recovery during stressful seasons.
Q: What’s the difference between oral vitamins and IV vitamins?
A: Oral vitamins go through your digestive system first. IV vitamins are delivered directly into the bloodstream for immediate availability and maximum absorption.
Q: Is IV therapy only for sick people?
A: Not at all. Many clients use IV hydration proactively for wellness, recovery, performance, and self-care.
Q: What should I do between IV appointments?
A: Prioritize hydration, protein intake, sleep, movement, stress management, and consistent nutrient-rich foods.
