The Trauma Survivors Foundation The Trauma Survivors Foundation helps children, families, students, and emergency services personnel through counseling, education, training, and scholarships.

The Trauma Survivors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Delaware. The money raised through donations from caring individuals goes directly to providing services at a national level. Anyone and everyone is affected by trauma and crisis. We want to help those who need our support. Our Mission
The Trauma Survivors Foundation seeks to improve the lives of ch

ildren and families who have experienced a traumatic event by providing mental health services through a network of trained trauma therapists. The Trauma Survivors Foundation grants scholarships to high school and college seniors who are seeking careers in the mental health field in order to promote further research into trauma psychology. The Trauma Survivors Foundation helps firefighters, police and EMS with scholarships to attend ICISF (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation) approved training classes. The Trauma Survivors Foundation trains emergency service personnel to provide crisis intervention when a traumatic event occurs. Our Needs
We need your help to grow and expand our reach to trauma survivors. From a motor vehicle accident or house fire to a line of duty injury or natural disaster, trauma can come in many forms but the pain is always real. By providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling to affected children and families, we give them hope and the ability to move beyond the traumatic event. We need your help to educate our future trauma therapists and crisis interventionists. By providing scholarships and mentor programs, we want to help students realize their potential as a trauma therapist so they can help traumatized children and families. We need your help to train emergency services personnel in crisis intervention in order for them to support other emergency services workers during a traumatic incident.

Calling Delaware coaches, parents, teachers and youth organizations!

This year's Jack O’ Lantern Revenge 5K is a great opportunity to bring your team, club, classmates or organization together for a morning of fitness, community and giving back.

We're encouraging local youth sports teams, school groups, clubs and community organizations to form teams and join us on November 8.

And we're making it a little competitive.

The largest group will win a FREE team lunch immediately after the race!

Bring the soccer team. Bring the cross-country team. Bring the cheer squad. Bring the school club. Bring the parents, siblings and friends, too.

Most importantly, participants will be running for a purpose. Proceeds will help fund The Trauma Survivors Foundation’s Thanksgiving Day meal for police officers and first responders who will spend the holiday serving their communities.
