The Trauma Survivors Foundation helps children, families, students, and emergency services personnel through counseling, education, training, and scholarships.

The Trauma Survivors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Delaware. The money raised through donations from caring individuals goes directly to providing services at a national level. Anyone and everyone is affected by trauma and crisis. We want to help those who need our support. Our Mission
The Trauma Survivors Foundation seeks to improve the lives of ch

ildren and families who have experienced a traumatic event by providing mental health services through a network of trained trauma therapists. The Trauma Survivors Foundation grants scholarships to high school and college seniors who are seeking careers in the mental health field in order to promote further research into trauma psychology. The Trauma Survivors Foundation helps firefighters, police and EMS with scholarships to attend ICISF (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation) approved training classes. The Trauma Survivors Foundation trains emergency service personnel to provide crisis intervention when a traumatic event occurs. Our Needs
We need your help to grow and expand our reach to trauma survivors. From a motor vehicle accident or house fire to a line of duty injury or natural disaster, trauma can come in many forms but the pain is always real. By providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling to affected children and families, we give them hope and the ability to move beyond the traumatic event. We need your help to educate our future trauma therapists and crisis interventionists. By providing scholarships and mentor programs, we want to help students realize their potential as a trauma therapist so they can help traumatized children and families. We need your help to train emergency services personnel in crisis intervention in order for them to support other emergency services workers during a traumatic incident.

The Trauma Survivors Foundation extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Kristen Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving her community.

Officer Yeager answered the call to protect and serve with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Every day she put on the uniform, she chose a life of service—placing the safety and well-being of others ahead of her own. That commitment reflects the very best of law enforcement and the noble calling of public service.

Today, our hearts are especially heavy for her husband, her three children, her extended family, and her brothers and sisters in blue who are mourning an unimaginable loss. No words can adequately ease the pain that accompanies the loss of a loved one, a partner, a parent, a friend, or a fellow officer.

As a foundation dedicated to supporting first responders and trauma survivors, we recognize that behind every badge is a human being, a family, and a community forever changed by such a tragedy. Officer Yeager’s sacrifice will never be forgotten, and her legacy of service will continue to inspire those who follow in her footsteps.

Please join us in keeping Officer Yeager’s family, the Central Berks Police Department, and all those impacted by this loss in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Today, we remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a reminder of the sacrifice carried by so many families, communities, and fellow service members.

At The Trauma Survivors Foundation, we honor those we’ve lost and stand with those still carrying the weight of service, grief, and trauma every day. 🇺🇸

On behalf of the Trauma Survivors Foundation, we want to wish a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, stepmother, bonus mom, foster mom, caregiver, and maternal figure making a difference in the lives of others.

We especially want to recognize the mothers serving our communities as first responders, healthcare professionals, dispatchers, military personnel, crisis workers, and caregivers. So many of you spend your lives taking care of everyone else while quietly carrying your own stress, exhaustion, and emotional burdens behind the scenes.

Your strength does not go unnoticed.
Your compassion matters.
And your love changes lives every single day.

To the moms who are struggling today, grieving today, working today, or simply trying to make it through the day one moment at a time… please know you are seen, valued, and appreciated.
