I love being a girl🌸

The women who came before us didn’t survive by becoming harder. They survived by being exactly who they were in rooms that weren’t built for them.

There is nothing in this world like being a woman. The intuition. The resilience. The way we carry everyone and still find a way to carry ourselves. The rituals that are just for us. 1. I stopped wearing “busy” like a badge of honor.
For decades I thought hustle equaled worth.
Now? Peace of mind is the priority.
I choose aligned action over frantic action — and it’s changed everything.

2. I started trusting myself again.
After losing everything in an unexpected divorce, I had to rebuild from ground zero.
I learned just how strong and resilient I really am… and that the process of growing and healing through the mess changes you for the better on the other side of it all.

3. I stopped shrinking and finally let myself take up space.
I found my voice.
I realized I have value to add to the world — experience, wisdom, perspective — and I no longer apologize for dreaming bigger or wanting more.

4. I leaned into learning new things, like earning money online.
Trusting the process, being a beginner again, giving myself grace…
It showed me that reinvention in your 50s and 60s is not only possible — it’s powerful. I’m excited seeing the momentum building!

5. I discovered how much I love helping others create a life they love.
A life with choices… peace… joy… and room to breathe.
That’s become one of the greatest gifts of this season.

For years I thought I was “too old to start over.”
Turns out… I was building the best version of me. I feel like I’m just getting warmed up!

Most women were never taught how to love themselves. We were taught how to fix ourselves, improve ourselves, shrink ourselves, perfect ourselves. But no one ever sat us down and said, “you are allowed to love yourself without earning it first.”

Louise Hay taught that the most important relationship a woman will ever have is the one she has with herself. And it starts with something so simple it almost feels too easy: looking at yourself in the mirror and choosing to love what you see.
Not when the weight changes. Not when the skin clears up. Not when the goal is hit or the promotion lands or everything finally feels figured out. Now. Today. Exactly as she is.

She understood something most women are still learning.

Mirror work isn’t about affirmations that feel fake. It’s about unlearning the story that says you’re not enough yet. It’s about standing in front of your own reflection and being willing to stay instead of look away.

Start small. Tomorrow morning, look at yourself and say one kind thing. Not to your body. To you. To the woman who has been through everything and is still here.
