Support the Women's Health Fund this month! This resource supports onsite 3-D Mammography and provides assistance to local women undergoing any kind of cancer treatment.

How you can help:

🎀2) Purchasing a pink mug (comes with straw!). Mug inventory is limited--stop by either entrance at Windom Area Health to purchase yours for $20. Proceeds go directly to the Women's Health Fund.

The Foundation recently supported the upgrade of a life-saving device at Windom Area Health. This portable Capnography/End Tidal CO2 monitor may look small, but it has a big job. 💪🏼

In an emergency situation where a crash cart is used and life-saving interventions are taking place, this device shows our staff whether CPR and ventilation are effective. These devices are the gold standard of care, and their smallness makes them easy to transport.

👏🏼Thank you to our staff, Jenna Jacobs, Nursing Manager, and Katie Bennett, ER/Trauma/Stroke Coordinator, for making sure hospital equipment is up-to-date and best meeting patients needs. Thank you to the donors who generously support the Foundation's General Fund, making important projects like this possible.

"Every ribbon tells a story." 🎀

This October, we remember those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer and the importance of preventative screenings. Stop by either entrance to place a ribbon, grab information, and learn about our Women's Health Fund.

The Women's Health Fund supports women going through ANY kind of cancer treatment, and also bolsters our onsite 3-D mammography program and patient education efforts. Donations to this fund directly support women in our community. Know someone who could benefit from it? Have them contact us to learn about the application process. 🎀

Tickets are on sale now for the Be The Light Gala! 🌟

The gala is Saturday, February 27th, 2027 at the Windom Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Here's what's included:
✨ Social hour with appetizers and raffles
🍽️ Dinner by Hi-Lo Club
🎤 Keynote speaker Belinda Jensen, former KARE 11 Chief Meteorologist, with a book signing to follow
📸 Photo booth and desserts

All proceeds benefit the Foundation's Education Fund for student scholarships. This event is family-friendly and students are especially encouraged to attend.
