One of the best ways to help your kids build a healthy relationship with food is to let them experience and see lots of different foods, without pressure to eat them right away.

I love getting my kids in the garden with me - to have fun, get dirty, and try new things. And the same idea works anywhere: the produce aisle, or the first time they try something new at dinner. Let them touch it, smell it, decide for themselves.

If you want more individualized support, we have a pediatric dietitian on our team who can help build tools specific to your family and your kids.

We’re so thankful for everything Kelby does behind the scenes at Bite for Bite, from answering questions and keeping communication flowing between everyone to, lately, helping the rest of us survive the transition to a new electronic health record 😂

Sharing a few pictures of Kelby with her family to celebrate her today. We appreciate you, Kelby! Hope you have the best birthday!

The more we push a bite, a clean plate, or a “good job” for eating, the more food turns into a fight.

Here’s what to say instead. ➡️ And if you are a parent struggling with picky eating or any childhood nutrition issues - our pediatric dietitian would love to work with you!
