❣️Thankful Thursday ❣️

Happy Thursday, friends!

Today, I’m taking a moment to reflect on a few things I’m especially grateful for.

This week, I had the help of a young gentleman who made progress on the farm happen much faster. The work hasn’t been easy, but he has tackled it with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and never a complaint. I’m so grateful for his time and effort!

I’m also thankful for the orders I received this week to help celebrate birthdays. It means so much to be chosen to create something beautiful for someone’s special day. My favorite comment came from a husband who said, “My wife mentioned it would be nice to have fresh flowers on a regular basis. Do you have any flowers? These are for her birthday.” 🥰

Although our farm stand is closed for the month of June, we are still accepting custom orders to help you treat someone special—or even yourself!

It’s hot, it’s busy, and life seems to move faster every day. Sometimes we need a reminder to slow down and admire the beauty around us. Fresh flowers are a way to do just that and to show a little love along the way.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

✨ Today I’m dropping off some flowers at Meadow Lou Farm for their season opening!

Make plans to stop by and see all the amazing goodies they have to offer. Let’s make this a sellout day for Valerie, because she is truly one incredible woman! 👩‍🌾💚

Valerie works tirelessly and has always believed in something simple but powerful: local is better.

Shopping local isn’t just about keeping money in your community. It’s about supporting hardworking farmers who show up every single day—through the heat, the rain, storms and everything in between—to provide the freshest, highest-quality products possible.

And supporting local is about your health, too. It’s knowing where your food comes from and trusting the people who grow it. It’s getting the very best without having to wonder what’s behind it.

So today—and every day—choose local. Support your farmers. Support your community. It’s a win-win for everyone. 🌱💚

I hope your week has started off well!

This weekend we had a very fun surprise. After weeks of waiting and watching, our Indian Runner duck managed to hatch two eggs!

We are all both surprised and thrilled to add more to our flock.

📧 We will be sharing lots of things in our weekly email this week. If you are interested in being added to our Jackson Creek Flower Family, shoot me a message with your email address and I’ll add you! 🥰

❣️Thankful Thursday❣️

✨Happy Thursday, friends✨

Last week I had the privilege of making a bridal bouquet for a young lady.

It was really a privilege as she knew what she wanted, white blooms from the garden. Thankful this year I had planted more white flowers and actually had three of her favorites Cosmos, Feverfew and Calla Lilies.

This was a wonderful blessing but I still was nervous because I know this was for her dream day and she had a vision but one statement changed everything “I trust what you will do will be beautiful.”

Those words go a long way coming from a bride because in this day and age with AI, brides bring photos that are not real making it hard to replicate. But when a bride actually trusts that what is going to be created is beautiful, that’s really all that matters.

This bride not only chose beauty, she chose local blooms that support a local business and herself! How did she support herself you may ask? She supported herself the same way you support yourself when buying from us. You are getting flowers that may not be pristine like an AI picture but they are real and aren’t sprayed with things that will soak into your skin and eventually be problematic.

Buying local blooms is standing by the belief that flowers matter and your health is important physically and emotionally!

So thank you to all those who have purchased from me!

Your support means so incredibly much!

🌻Tip Tuesday 🌻

Happy Tuesday, friends! 🌻

Today’s tip is more of a fun flower fact than a growing tip.

When most of us buy sunflowers, we naturally gravitate toward the blooms that are fully open. It makes sense—we want to picture exactly how they’ll look in a vase at home!

But when it comes to harvesting sunflowers, the ideal stage is actually much earlier. We harvest when just the first petal begins to unfurl. 🌻

Why? Because harvesting at this stage gives you a much longer vase life, allowing you to enjoy your flowers as they continue opening over the following days.

That’s why our sunflower bundles include a mix of blooms at different stages of opening. You’ll have flowers to enjoy right away, while others continue to open and shine throughout the week—and sometimes even longer! Many sunflowers can last up to 10 days with proper care.

✨ Don’t forget our Welcome June Special ✨

🌻 20 stems for $35
