Gratitude for the much-needed rain here in Berks County, PA.

Yes, it’s Memorial Day weekend.
Parades cancelled. Pool openings delayed.

And still… there is beauty.

The steady raindrops soothing those who pause long enough to listen.
The graceful dance between wind and trees.
Mother Earth drinking in the coolness.

As I walked this evening after the rain, flowers, leaves, and seeds lay scattered across the path — some crushed and hidden beneath the forest floor debris.

Step by step, making my way uphill, I was greeted by a radiant tulip tree flower resting upon her throne.
I could feel her energy.
See the light radiating from her.

And the wind whispered:

“You will be shaken. Storms will come. Chaos is often what makes way for change.
But you still get to choose how you will move through it.”
