Elize Janse van Rensburg
We are excited to welcome Elize Janse van Rensburg as a featured speaker at Autism in Focus.
Elize is an occupational therapist with a special interest in sensory integration, paediatric occupational therapy and neurodevelopmental conditions. She serves on the SAISI executive board and lectures on the SAISI qualification course.
Her session will explore:
“Pathological Demand Avoidance Through a Sensory Lens.”
This talk will examine how sensory processing differences may influence the behaviours often described in PDA, offering clinicians and families a deeper understanding of regulation and support.
