MAHAKALI MATA: SHE WHO CREATED THE GODS, BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIME
THE IGNORANCE OF THOSE WHO CALL FOR HER TEMPLES TO BE CLOSED IS NOTHING SHORT OF ASTOUNDING.

MAHAKALI MATA IS NOT BOUND BY THE CONSTRAINTS OF ANY ONE RELIGION, Hinduism included.
Pagans, Theologists, Hindus and many others all worship her for her worship resonates with a feeling of truth that no other can provide.

To condemn the worship of Mahakali Mata because of the actions or interpretations of a small minority of individuals is profoundly ignorant. It is akin to demanding that all churches be closed because of the actions of Christian zealots during the Crusades. One cannot fairly judge an entire faith, its sacred traditions or its places of worship solely by the conduct of those who have distorted, misused or acted violently in its name.
Let us make one thing absolutely clear. Mahakali Mata is not some insignificant figure who appeared yesterday, nor is her worship something that can be dismissed by people who have barely taken the time to understand the spiritual traditions they presume to criticise.
In the sacred tradition of the Devi Mahatmya, also revised in modern times as the more palatable Durga Saptashati or Chandi Path, the Divine Mother is revealed as the supreme power behind existence itself. She is Mahadevi Originally Kaal ie Kali , the primordial Shakti, the power upon which the universe, the gods and all creation depend.
In the first episode of the Durga Saptshati, Mahakali is associated with the cosmic slumber of Lord Vishnu and the destruction of Madhu and Kaitabha. The text establishes a profound truth: the Divine Mother is not subordinate to the gods. She is the power through which even the highest divine beings perform their cosmic functions.
The broader Shakta tradition goes further, venerating Adi Parashakti as the primordial reality from which Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and all other divine manifestations emerge.
Before the creator creates, before the preserver preserves, before the destroyer destroys, there is Shakti.
Without her power, creation cannot begin. Without her energy, preservation cannot continue. Without her force, transformation cannot occur.
She is not merely a goddess within creation.
SHE IS THE DIVINE POWER THAT MAKES CREATION POSSIBLE.
THE MOTHER BEFORE THE GODS
In Shakta theology, the Divine Mother is the source of the cosmic order. Brahma performs the work of creation, Vishnu sustains existence, and Shiva presides over dissolution and transformation. Yet the power through which these divine functions operate is Shakti.
The gods are not independent of her. They are expressions of the divine reality that she embodies.
From the cosmic order emerge the worlds, the celestial beings, the living creatures and the countless forms of existence that populate the universe.
To devotees of Mahakali Mata, she is not simply a terrifying image adorned with skulls, a garland of severed heads and a blood-red tongue. She is the Mother who destroys ignorance, annihilates destructive forces, protects her devotees and liberates the soul from the illusions that bind it.
Her terrifying appearance is not evidence of evil. It is a declaration that no force of darkness, arrogance or injustice is beyond the reach of the Divine Mother.
She is the end of tyranny.
She is the destruction of ego.
She is the power that stands when everything else falls.
And she is the Mother before whom even the mightiest forces of the universe must acknowledge the supremacy of divine power.

AQUARIUS DAILY ASTROLOGY REPORT

Tuesday, 27 October 2026

A BodyMindAthma Astrological Insight

♒ Overview

Aquarius, today invites you to embrace your individuality, trust your inner wisdom and approach the future with renewed clarity. As an air sign ruled traditionally by Saturn and associated in modern astrology with Uranus, you possess the ability to think beyond conventional boundaries. The energy of the day encourages you to balance your desire for independence with the patience and discipline needed to turn your ideas into reality.

You may find yourself questioning certain situations, relationships or long-standing beliefs. Rather than resisting this process, allow yourself the freedom to recognise what genuinely supports your growth and what may be holding you back.

Love and Relationships

Emotional honesty is your greatest asset today. If you are in a relationship, take time to understand your partner's feelings instead of relying solely on logic. A sincere conversation could help clear misunderstandings and strengthen mutual trust.

If you are single, remain open to unexpected connections. Someone whose outlook differs from yours may offer a refreshing perspective. Let attraction develop naturally without feeling pressured to define everything immediately.

Career and Finances

Your innovative thinking could help you identify solutions to a challenge that has been occupying your attention. This is a favourable day to organise your priorities, review unfinished projects and consider practical ways to advance your ambitions.

Financially, exercise discernment. Avoid impulsive purchases or decisions based on unrealistic promises. A thoughtful approach to budgeting and long-term planning will serve you better than chasing immediate rewards.

Health and Wellbeing

Your mind may be more active than usual, making it important to create space for relaxation. Gentle exercise, mindful breathing, meditation or time spent in nature can help restore balance.

Remember that emotional independence does not mean carrying every burden alone. Give yourself permission to rest, receive support and acknowledge your feelings without judgement.

Spiritual Guidance

Today's deeper lesson is the balance between freedom and responsibility. True liberation is not simply the ability to reject limitations. It is the wisdom to distinguish between restrictions that hinder your growth and disciplines that strengthen your character.

Practise detachment without indifference. Observe your thoughts without becoming their prisoner, and allow your decisions to arise from clarity rather than fear or rebellion.

Affirmation for Aquarius

I honour my individuality, trust my inner wisdom and move towards my future with clarity, discipline and courage.

BodyMindAthma Closing Message

Aquarius, you do not need to have every answer today. Sometimes progress begins with a willingness to question, reflect and choose a different direction. Trust your capacity to adapt, but remember that lasting transformation requires both vision and consistent effort.

Walk your own path with wisdom, remain grounded in your values and allow today's experiences to guide you towards a more conscious tomorrow.

Astrology offers a framework for reflection and personal insight. Use your own judgement when making important life decisions.

Aquarius Daily Astrology Report ♒
**BodyMindAthma Astrological Insights**

**Date: 25 October 2026**

# # Overview

Aquarius, today invites you to embrace your individuality, trust your intuition and look beyond the limitations that have held you back. As an air sign traditionally ruled by Saturn and associated with innovation, independence and progressive thinking, you have a natural ability to recognise possibilities that others may overlook.

The energies of the day encourage you to balance your desire for freedom with the wisdom of patience. You do not need to have every answer immediately. Sometimes, your greatest breakthrough comes when you stop forcing an outcome and allow clarity to emerge.

# # Love and Relationships

Your emotional world may require more attention today. While you naturally value independence and intellectual connection, remember that meaningful relationships also need warmth, reassurance and emotional presence.

If you are in a relationship, an honest conversation could help clear up a misunderstanding. If you are single, remain open to connections that stimulate your mind while respecting your individuality.

**Cosmic guidance:** Allow yourself to be understood, not merely admired for your strength.

# # Career and Business

Your innovative thinking could help you identify a fresh approach to an existing challenge. This is a favourable day to review your plans, explore creative solutions and consider opportunities that align with your long-term ambitions.

Avoid becoming frustrated if others do not immediately understand your vision. Present your ideas clearly, listen to constructive feedback and allow your actions to demonstrate their value.

**Cosmic guidance:** A powerful idea becomes meaningful when supported by disciplined action.

# # Finance and Prosperity

Take a practical approach to money matters today. You may feel inspired to pursue a new opportunity or make changes to your financial plans, but avoid impulsive commitments.

Review your priorities, distinguish genuine opportunities from wishful thinking and focus on building stability for the future.

**Cosmic guidance:** Financial freedom begins with conscious choices and consistent habits.

# # Health and Wellbeing

Give your mind an opportunity to slow down. Aquarius energy can be mentally active, making it easy to spend too much time thinking about the future while neglecting the present moment.

Gentle exercise, mindful breathing, meditation and time in nature may help you regain balance. Listen to your body and make space for adequate rest.

**Cosmic guidance:** Your energy flows more harmoniously when your mind, body and spirit work together.

# # Spiritual Growth

Today offers an opportunity to reflect on the difference between genuine freedom and resistance to life's responsibilities.

Your spiritual journey is not simply about being different from others. It is about becoming more conscious of your thoughts, motives and attachments while developing the discernment to recognise what truly serves your growth.

Practise detachment without indifference, independence without isolation and compassion without sacrificing your inner balance.

**Vedic reflection:** True freedom begins with mastery of the self.

# # Lucky Influences

- **Lucky colours:** Electric blue and violet
- **Lucky numbers:** 4, 7 and 11
- **Favourable focus:** Innovation, meditation, planning and meaningful conversations
- **Affirmation:** *I embrace my individuality, trust my inner wisdom and move forward with clarity, discipline and purpose.*

# # Message from BodyMindAthma

Aquarius, never underestimate the power of an awakened mind guided by a compassionate heart. You are not required to follow every established path, but you are responsible for choosing your direction with awareness.

Let today be an opportunity to release outdated thinking, strengthen your inner foundations and take one purposeful step towards the future you wish to create.

Simple Brihaspati or Guru Puja at Home

Thursday worship for wisdom, prosperity and spiritual growth

Brihaspati, also known as Guru Graha, is the planetary deity associated with wisdom, knowledge, Dharma, good counsel, prosperity and spiritual guidance in Vedic astrology.

A simple Guru Puja can be performed at home on Thursday (Guruvar). You do not need an elaborate altar or expensive offerings. Sincere devotion and the chanting of Guru mantras are sufficient for a simple personal prayer.

# # # 1\. Items required

* A clean puja space

* A picture or murti of Brihaspati, or a representation of Guru Graha

* A small diya with ghee or oil

* Yellow flowers

* Turmeric or sandalwood paste

* A small bowl of water

* Yellow fruit, such as a banana

* Incense, if desired

# # # 2\. Step-by-step Guru Puja

Step 1 — Cleanse and prepare

Bathe, wear clean clothes and sit facing east if convenient. Clean the puja area and place the picture or murti before you. Light the diya and incense safely.

Step 2 — Make your sankalpa

Join your palms and state your intention:

“I offer this puja with devotion to Brihaspati Bhagavan. May I develop wisdom, discernment, patience and devotion to Dharma. May my actions be guided by truth and righteous understanding.”

Step 3 — Pray to Lord Ganesha

Begin with a short prayer to Ganesha:

ॐ गं गणपतये नमः

Om Gam Ganapataye Namah

Chant 3 or 11 times, asking for the removal of obstacles from your worship.

Step 4 — Offer prayers to Guru Graha

Offer yellow flowers, a little turmeric or sandalwood paste, and water. Visualise Brihaspati Bhagavan as the divine principle of wisdom and righteous guidance.

Chant the Guru mantra below.

Step 5 — Offer naivedya and conclude

Offer fruit or another vegetarian food. Recite the closing prayer, sit quietly for a minute and conclude with gratitude. You may perform aarti if you know the traditional procedure.

# # # 3\. Main Brihaspati mantra

Guru Graha Beej Mantra

ॐ ग्रां ग्रीं ग्रौं सः गुरवे नमः

Om Graam Greem Graum Sah Gurave Namah

Chant 11, 27 or 108 times, according to your time and ability.

Alternatively, chant this simpler mantra:

ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नमः

Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah

You may choose either mantra for your simple home puja.

# # # 4\. Guru Graha Vedic prayer

देवानां च ऋषीणां च गुरुं काञ्चनसन्निभम् ।

बुद्धिभूतं त्रिलोकेशं तं नमामि बृहस्पतिम् ॥

Transliteration

Devanam Cha Rishinam Cha Gurum Kanchana Sannibham

Buddhim Bhutam Trilokesham Tam Namami Brihaspatim

Meaning: I bow to Brihaspati, the Guru of the Devas and sages, radiant like gold, the embodiment of wisdom and revered throughout the three worlds.

# # # 5\. Closing prayer

“Om Brihaspataye Namah.

O Brihaspati Bhagavan, guide my intellect towards wisdom and truth. Help me overcome ignorance, pride and poor judgement. Strengthen my understanding of Dharma and inspire me to respect my teachers, honour my responsibilities and use knowledge for the welfare of others.

May my thoughts, words and actions be guided by wisdom, compassion and righteousness.

Om Shanti Shanti Shantih.”

# # # 6\. Traditional Thursday observances

* Wear yellow or light-coloured clothing if convenient.

* Offer yellow flowers, bananas or chana dal.

* Study a spiritual text or reflect on the teachings of a respected Guru.

* Practise charity by offering food or helping someone in need.

* Cultivate humility, truthful speech and respect for teachers and elders.

Duration: Approximately 10–15 minutes.

You can perform this puja every Thursday without elaborate rituals. If you follow a specific family tradition or sampradaya, its prescribed mantras and procedures should take precedence.

The heart of Guru Puja is not merely seeking favourable planetary results, but cultivating the wisdom, discernment and conduct that Guru represents.
