Field Update: Equipping CHEs at Masumba Health Facility Mambwe District.

Yesterday, our Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Programs teams were on the ground at Masumba Health Facility in Mambwe district, continuing our SHE SOARS refresher trainings!

It’s one thing to talk about "last mile health," but it’s another to see it in action. These sessions are vital for ensuring our Community Health Entrepreneurs (CHEs) stay sharp, confident, and equipped with the latest knowledge to deliver accurate sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information. From STIs and contraceptives to menstrual health, our CHEs are breaking down barriers and creating safe spaces for adolescents in the community.

SHE SOARS CHE Refresher Training

This week, Live Well has kicked off refresher trainings for our Community Health Entrepreneurs in Kasenengwa, Chadiza, and Mambwe districts as part of the SHE SOARS Project. These sessions make sure our CHEs stay equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to deliver accurate sexual and reproductive health information, products, and services to adolescents and other community members.

By refreshing their training, we strengthen their ability to share information on STIs, contraceptives, menstrual health, and other SRH topics, while also challenging harmful norms and creating safe spaces for open conversations about SRHR.

It’s also about livelihoods. Through our model, we turn Community Health Volunteers into Community Health Entrepreneurs, creating viable business opportunities that boost household incomes while expanding access to health.

Thank you to our CHEs for your commitment on the ground. Every refresher training means better support, better information, and better futures for the people we serve.
